Monsieur Warradi - Alocacia (Radio Edit)

'For our second release, we welcome EGOTAPE to our ywc. family. With his melancholic electronic club song „COULDN’T FIND“, he delivers an emotional track with a vocal line, which is more than catchy. Strong but airy beats and basses meet excellent programmed arpeggio lines, which lead into a warm and deep break down. There’s only one word, which describes this tune best: emotions.

The first remix is an absolutely techno monster. 2POLE delivered a stunning version of the original song, which goes beyond expectations. Huge kicks and rumble basses, wide and mystical pads and a trance-like arpeggio synthesiser lead through a journey into techno world.

The second remix is by DANNY & CRANE, which made a melodic techno recomposition of the song. They played well with all vocal parts and added a nice typical and analogue sounding Moog-ish basslines to their track. Goosebumps are inevitable.

ywc. is a music label featuring all kind of „intelligent“ and emotional electronic club and listening music. Founder Marcus Schmahl (a.k.a. 2pole, APNOEA, Broombeck, Rauschfaktor) started in 2021 to build a community of talented musicians via his Twitch channel (twitch.tv/marcusschmahl). ywc. will be a platform for all members of this community to release music and create remixes. On top of that Marcus is going to work with excellent and well-known producers of his network, who will add special mixes to ywc. tracks. This will be an amazing journey into sound!'

“Impel” almost sounds like 2 tracks blend together.
I experimented with granular synthesis which resulted in the disruptive middle piece of this track. I love surprise elements in music and feel I accomplished something that stands out with “Impel”. Some will love it, others might dislike it.
