Soheil Soheili (b.1983) is an interdisciplinary artist and a researcher. His background includes learning music from an early age and studying mathematics/ engineering. He started learning traditional Persian music from his father, then experienced western musical instruments, namely guitars and the bass when he left the engineering classes for good. He started his serious career in the field of music as a musician in Patriam band - an independent jam band in Tehran (2002).

Behrouz Farahani (b.1984, Tehran) is a composer of experimental electronic music, a Sound designer and producer. He has studied computer hardware and network design. In 2003, he started learning drumming skills, made years of research and constant rehearsals; he played with various bands with different musical styles. He started composing classical rock-electronic music after attending Tehran conservatory of Music. He started collaborating with the Mezzo studios in 2008. He is going to publish his experimental-electronic music album which is dubbed as “inner music”.

Takcharkh - Nine

Mehrnaz Khorrami is an electro-acoustic composer based in the Netherlands. She has educated in fine art and Sonology in Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. She focuses her art practice on designing sound installations, audiovisual performances, and live Electroacoustic improvisation.

This piece is an aggregate of creative coding and sound synthesis, which has been inspired by perceiving the diverse sound of nature which is transformed into different noises behavior.

He runs Syrphe, a recording label and platform focusing on electronic, electroacoustic and noise music from Asia and Africa, and establishing connections between different disciplines and media. His musical style ranges from electroacoustic to electronica, dark ambient to industrial and field recordings, to harsh noise.
