SOS_CARLOSS debut EP delivers a mixture of stumbling breaks and atmospheric sound scapes reminiscent of early dubstep. A unique sound aesthetic and approach where distorted samples from analogue gear are recontextualized as eerie pads just to be broken by heavy drums and subby bass lines.

In dieser Sendung von "Radio Impuls" ist Matilda aka @matildnz zu Gast. Sie kommt aus dem Ruhrgebiet und ist dort als Designerin, DJ und als Mit-Organisatorin der Ivory tätig. Außerdem betreibt sie den Radiosender @beton-fm. In ihren Designs beschäftigt sie sich intensiv mit Ästhetiken des Cyber Spaces - und dieses Interesse verbindet sie auch mit dem Label CloudCore und mit der gesamten Community, die sich um dieses Label auf Discord entwickelt hat. In der Sendung sprechen wir nicht nur über die Verbindung von Visuellem und Musikalischem bei CloudCore und den spezifischen Sound des Labels, sondern auch über dessen zusätzliche Besonderheit, die in dem musikalischen und künstlerischem Austausch besteht, der im Online-Vernetzungsraum auf dem CloudCore-Discord-Server stattfindet.
Die Sendung wird abgeschlossen von einem CloudCore-Only DJ-Mix von Matildnz.

After over a year since his debut as a producer, we are proud to present "Limerence," the second album by the Mancunian artist Lucas SM. "Limerence" is more than an album; it's an emotional state that shines in a whirlwind between worlds and genres. Comprising three tracks, each one is a distinct chapter in an emotional journey, whether it be a feeling of euphoria or introspection.

Portraying Lucas SM's distinctive ambient influence, smooth pads, shimmering keys, and a massive soundscape effortlessly evoke a profound connection between the music and the listener. While not forsaking the essential elements of the UK's club sound, the drums and basslines slice through the mix like headlights piercing through the mist.

Through a fusion of the UK and Spanish electronic music scenes, alongside the harmonious blending of ambient and club music elements, this EP delivers three exceptional remixes from industry legends. Galician producer Andrae Durden contributes a juke-infused, gated version of "Lucent," while Bristolian Pluralist treats us with an euphoric, ever-ascending remix of "Within Touching Distance." Last but not least, Brighton-to-Bristol, now London-based Syz delivers a rhythmic and percussive banger version of "Within Touching Distance."

"Within Touching Distance," the album's first single, is now available for pre-order on Bandcamp and for streaming on all platforms. The full release of "Limerence" will be on December 6th
