My first tango ever. Of course this is more a would-be funny sort of tango (fans of Boris Vian will probably notice a little similitude with "Le Tango des Bouchers"). So this is about death but it's not meant to be sad, take this as realistic dark humour... Or leave it.

Oh, and if you are a tango specialist please don't crucify me, once again, this is for fun, really.

C'est le tango du petit verre de trop, le pas de deux de la dernière bouffée,
C'est quand tu cours devant des taureaux, que tu te vautres dans l'escalier,
C'est le mari cocu, jaloux, furieux ou l'autobus qui roule un peu trop vite,
C'est un éclair, te rôtissant des cieux ou bien cette vieille salope de méningite !
C'est le tango du croco affamé, la danse ultime de l'artère rétrécie,
Celle encore du staphylocoque doré, c'est l'avalanche sournoise qui t'estourbit,
Les freins qui flanchent en haut du Tourmalet ou encore une bête arête de poisson,
Le monoxyde qui s'en vient sans crier... Gare aux ennemis et gare à leur poison !
C'est la fin de ce qui est bien, c'est la fin de ce qui est vain,
La fin de tout ce qui nous retenait sur cette terre de baisers en pieds d'nez...
C'est le tango des cent mille pendus depuis Judas, le twist des suicidés,
Quelques accords pour chanter ce qui fut involontaire ou bien prémédité,
L'avion qui tombe pour un oui, pour un non, la petite veine qui lâche dans le cerveau,
C'est salmonelles ou bien c'est champignons, c'est ça le sens du fatal tango !
C'est la fin de ce qui est bien, c'est la fin de ce qui est vain,
La fin de tout ce qui nous retenait sur cette terre de baisers en pieds d'nez...
C'est le tango qu'ici j'assassine juché sur mes quarante-cinq printemps,
La vue est belle du haut de la colline, l'ennui c'est que ça descend maintenant,
Alors je peux chanter la mort qui vient mais n'est-ce pas au fond perdre mon temps ?

My hobby is to write and perform simple little songs in French and English and since discovering Soundcloud to post them for everyone to hear and my ego to inflate.
