This mix is dedicated to legendary producer and filth merchant, Blackmass Plastics, who passed away on 27 June 2025. The mix was recorded at the beginning of June 2025, when I first received the test pressings of my Cyborg Samba ep. In the mix, I had included five tracks and a remix from this truly gifted artist. I first came across Roi when I bought his Deixo ep on Fanzine back in 2019 and he has been going from strength to strength ever since. I have copies of both his 2025 records, Six Nine on Nachtstrom Schallplatten Germany and most recently his mesmerisingly good Arise ep on No Static/Automatic.

Roi is one of the busiest guys in the underground scene and thankfully shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

For the guest mix, Roi has created a beautiful mix of blissful mellow electro and top-drawer robo-funk for our listening pleasure. It's a real treat. Enjoy!

Her style is driven by the tension between the underbelly of society and the uneasy question of whether humankind is a virus or merely a vessel for its own unraveling. Informed by formative years in the 2000s American DIY and noise underground she is drawn to the grit, resolve, and outsider spirit that shape certain sounds. Her sets move through desire, grief, dissociation, and euphoria with sounds that
bypass language to states of hypnosis, dissonance, and raw physicality.

Early influenced by Belgian and UK Old School Rave sound, Chris Nexus 6 has been gravitating around the electronic scene since 1995. Co-founder of a weekly electronic show on a local radio station in the suburbs of Paris for more than 10 years, Chris gradually abandoned the Acid/Transcore style of his beginnings in favor of a cold and hard-hitting Electro that he still mixes with passion today.

In parallel with his activities, Chris turned to writing musical chronicles for Atome.com (FR), Electro Alliance (US), or Electric Kingdom (US) blogs.
Over the years, Chris has managed to build a solid network of artists and label owners worldwide. 

As a writer, his regular efforts to introduce electro to the mass have leaded him to be part of the mighty New Flesh Records along with Umwelt where he currently runs the graphic side of the French imprint. 

Nowadays, he regularly signs artworks and illustrates record covers for some of his favorite labels: New Flesh Records, Rave Or Die, Zodiak Commune, Shipwrec, or Fundamental Bass Intelligence.
