Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.
After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music.

After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on
underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.

Everything the 2 German guys do or produce is connected with passion and love for music. Progress through technology is meant nicely, but does not hit the core of Krumm & Schief. They define themselves through analogue. Their work in the studio is still handmade, and the sound is always unique thanks to their analogue peripherals. With career roots in the hospitality industry as a personal chef & hotel manager, music was a strong force in Hungary-born Norbi Szakács’ life from the time he was a child. He grew up listening primarily to trance then progressive, melodic & deep house and now is also influenced by the breakbeat culture. He always had a keen interest in how to transform one’s thoughts and innermost feelings into a musical form for others to appreciate.

This past year, as many of us sought out new life paths, NorB found the opportunity to explore music production for the first time, for which he discovered an immediate passion. In connecting with established Toronto-based artist & vocalist juSt b, of whom he’s been an avid supporter, the two have come together for an exquisite, dark & brooding collaboration in the form of a debut 3-track EP entitled Different Places, featuring juSt b’s original vocals.

Continuing the musical journey and collaboration with juSt b, NorB reached new milestones in late 2023 with the release of the joint track "At This Moment," remixed by the legendary  Henry Saiz. 
In early 2024, another significant achievement was realized with a track placement on ICONYC Records as part of the "We Are ICONYC" Album.

In the summer of 2023, NorB launched Static Fields, his monthly mix show dedicated to hypnotic and deep techno as its core focus, enriched with elements of progressive and break styles. Known for its distinctive atmosphere and immersive musical journey, Static Fields is now featured on two leading electronic music radio platforms, DI.FM and Afterhours.FM.

These endeavors mark pivotal moments in NorB's evolving career, showcasing their commitment to artistic exploration and collaboration within the electronic music scene.

Speed is a US Florida native who grew up NYC tri-state area and took on a liking to Trance at an early age of his youthful years. He got his first pair of decks at 16 and would travel to Satellite records shop in Manhattan to get releases he heard on his pc. As time went on he grew a passion for his art in turntable beat matching and was inspired by the likes of the well-known big artists in the genre of Progressive, Trance, & Breaks. Later on, SpeedRising met up with Richard Sander the label boss of Saturn3 Records where Richard signed Speed's first track, Rouge City.
