Anomali is a producer and DJ from Gothenburg, focusing on deep and hypnotic techno. After finding out how to make music with computers back in 1994, the path was clear. The electronic music revolution of the ‘90s provided endless inspiration, and soon he found a passion for house, techno, psytrance and drum & bass. Making his DJ debut in 2002 helped him discover the creative feedback loop that both performing and producing music can lead to.

Following decades of honing his craft, throwing raves and DJing, in 2020 it was finally time to get serious. Deep and hypnotic techno felt just like home, combining influences from all of the incredible music he grew up with in the ‘90s with a modern approach to sound design.

With several remixes under his belt, and his debut EP released on Fur:ther Sessions (@furthersessions), Anomali is off to a flying start. His mixes have been featured in platforms like Monument, KVLTÖ Records, Revelation Of Sound, Indefinite Pitch, Charybdis, Cellar Door, Crescent London and Unknown Timeline.

“An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy. Equipped with a rumbling, driving and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began..

In 2018 he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer's education as a first step to pursuing his dream. After releasing EP’s and remixes on labels such as SMR underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, Papaya music,..He felt the melodic music genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what really inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on underground hypnotic techno and ambient music, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’, he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element. For over 130 episodes spreading over 2 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing day by day.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Anhera’, which translates to ‘Darkness’ in sanskrit. With every full moon or solar eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly carved out balance between light and darkness, cheerful and melancholic, where he guides you through the various realms of underground techno music, where you’ll find yourself in the most disturbing, hypnotizing and captivating journeys and where there’s no time, no space, but only the low end frequencies, the screeching synths, the confusing percussive elements which are surrounded by the most beautiful and enchanting ambient soundscapes. And thus the pure reflection of his inner darkness.

After releasing EPs and remixes on several labels, he shifted his focus to underground hypnotic, atmospheric techno, and ambient music in 2022. Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.
Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...
After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music. After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.
In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.
His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.

With career roots in the hospitality industry as a personal chef & hotel manager, music was a strong force in Hungary-born Norbi Szakács’ life from the time he was a child. He grew up listening primarily to trance then progressive, melodic & deep house and now is also influenced by the breakbeat culture. He always had a keen interest in how to transform one’s thoughts and innermost feelings into a musical form for others to appreciate.

This past year, as many of us sought out new life paths, NorB found the opportunity to explore music production for the first time, for which he discovered an immediate passion. In connecting with established Toronto-based artist & vocalist juSt b, of whom he’s been an avid supporter, the two have come together for an exquisite, dark & brooding collaboration in the form of a debut 3-track EP entitled Different Places, featuring juSt b’s original vocals.

Continuing the musical journey and collaboration with juSt b, NorB reached new milestones in late 2023 with the release of the joint track "At This Moment," remixed by the legendary  Henry Saiz. 
In early 2024, another significant achievement was realized with a track placement on ICONYC Records as part of the "We Are ICONYC" Album.

In the summer of 2023, NorB launched Static Fields, his monthly mix show dedicated to hypnotic and deep techno as its core focus, enriched with elements of progressive and break styles. Known for its distinctive atmosphere and immersive musical journey, Static Fields is now featured on two leading electronic music radio platforms, DI.FM and Afterhours.FM.

These endeavors mark pivotal moments in NorB's evolving career, showcasing their commitment to artistic exploration and collaboration within the electronic music scene.
