We so enjoyed his 'classic' groovy tech house sound and the fact that it was obviously mixed live on technics that we feature it. Our next ep is another label debut from an exciting young producer -- this time from South African teenager La Deep with the futuristic Rabbit Teeth EP. The five-track ep layers moody soundscapes over elements of big room NY house, classic '90s deep and modern South African afro house. The young artist is well beyond his years and not afraid to take chances in the studio, mix things up and go deep underwater with these productions.

Sfiso Sizwe Khumalo aka La Deep hails from Bethal, a small town in the province of Mpumalanga, South Africa. Starting his musical journey from the age of 9, La Deep has grown to understand music from a different perspective: he is a dj, producer, songwriter and poet who takes inspiration from the environment around him.

Citing among his musical influences Mount Kimbe, Dj Koze, Jimpster, Osunlade, Powel, Andhim, Kellerkind and The Revenge and many others, La Deep burst on the scene last year and has since released a handful of projects. You can find his is early productions on releases from Housahaulic, House HED Music & Gentle Soul Records from South Africa. Keep your ears open for big things from this upcoming producer.

Nordic Trax celebrate 20 years with new compilation. Featuring tracks & remixes from Mark Farina & Homero Espinosa, Cristoph, Halo Varga, Brett Johnson, Nacho Marco, Fish Go Deep, Giom, Jay Tripwire, Harri & The Revenge, JT Donaldson, Gavin Froome, Jon Delerious & more.

20 Years of Nordic Trax marks a significant milestone for Luke McKeehan's globally-recognized label based out of Vancouver. The compilation is both retrospective and fresh, featuring exclusive new tracks from the acclaimed label roster alongside a selection of Luke's personal favourites.

The exclusive tracks on the compilation include a remix by West Coast legends Mark Farina (Great Lakes) & Homero Espinosa (Moulton Music) of Alexander East's iconic 2008 track 'Believe En Me'. French producer Giom (Supremus) delivers an epic rework of Gavin Froome's 2016 hit 'Don't Come Home' and Brett Johnson flips Johnny Fiasco's Remix of 'Chameleon' by Krown & Lock with his own custom 'Bredit'. Alongside these new remixes are original tracks from the label roster by Spain's Nacho Marco (Loudeast), Canadian house don Jon Delerious, London producer Finest Wear and prolific Irishman Gavin Boyce -- all of whom have a special relationship with Nordic Trax.

Combing the back catalogue for gems McKeehan has selected some classic cuts, all remastered for the compilation. Highlights include Slackjaw from Harri & The Revenge (one of The Revenge's first productions!), Speaking With Sounds by JT Donaldson & Chris Nazuka, Wanting You by Kelvin K and Sunsets by Gavin Froome -- a track originally championed by DJ Harvey on his Sarcastic disco compilation and recently 'rediscovered' by Art Department, Shaun Reeves & many others.

For me a lot of the anthems that define house music -- tracks I usually heard for the first time at the legendary Twilight Zone in Toronto between 1985-1988 -- are on this mix. Enjoy! - Luke
