For more than 15 years the name BOOM-A-RANG stands for energetic Reggae & Dancehall performances in Austria. Dex & Weasel, both from St. Pölten, adapt the flair of the jamaican sound system culture with a broad spectrum of Caribbean music. Influences such as Foundation & Reggae from the 70’s, Ska, early Dancehall, new Roots as well as dancehall classics, remixes and dubplates. For that reason every BOOM-A-RANG show is an exciting and varied mixture for lovers and friends of the Jamaican culture. Featuring top international artists from the reggae of the reggae and dancehall scene such as Elephantman, Sizzla, Beenie Man, Konshens, T.O.K, Ward21, Yellowman, Toots & the Maytals and sound systems like Massive B, Rodigan, PowPow, Jugglerz verifies the competence of these two Austrian artists.
