Northcoast is Dominik St-Denis, Ron Luther and the many machines they manipulate. After discovering a shared obsession with electronic music, the duo quickly established a studio and got to the business of making noise. Operating exclusively on hardware synthesizers, drum machines and a host of other technical bits of kit. Songs are created and built live. Northcoast is about big, rolling sounds that simultaneously wash over you while driving you to move - an homage to inspirational acts like Tycho, Caribou, Boards of Canada, Com Truise, and Washed Out. Northcoast is live improvisation.
