"Neurosmasher is a tool to tamper with the mind perception process. Exploring dissonances it's possible to alter and smash perception by using or abusing frequencies and modulations. An extensive meaningful showcase of acrobatic experiments based on those not-defined sound happenings known as "noise" by definition the contrary of "sound" intended as a meaningful and defined happening, instantly readable and understandable.
Noise is neither the signal nor the message, but the disturbance; it poses a fundamental problem for information processing and affects all aspects of nervous-system function. The neuronal networks are affected at different levels, while multiple noise sources contribute to cellular and behavioural trial-to-trial variability, distorting perception normal sound will no longer trigger any emotion due to its smallness and monotype. 
On the other hand, the compulsive need to discover and interpret the undefined, unknown and unlimited shapes that this 'matter' is able to take it's answering to the growing need of freedom of the 2.0 human; the challenge is to forge the dark matter towards something perceivable as a meaningful happening, somehow definable and quantifiable because constrained within boundaries outlining a shape."

The wicked intensity of Toronto's E-Saggila takes on novel limits for her new album for Northern Electronics. Constructed out of her live works, there's a lack of restraint on 'My World My Way' that could only be forged in the moment.

Following on from last year's album for BANK Records NYC, E-Saggila has put together something that addresses the club and the headphones in equal measure. Taking the approach of a documentarian of our virtual landscape, there's a deep motive that underpins the heavy digital signal processing. With plenty of storming mechanical rhythms that embark from gabber's chaotic neighborhood, the samples of voices, conversations, and phone calls, all wind the listener around the desperation that's embedded in the digital world's seamless mediation of our lives. Owing as much to power violence and industrial as to Rotterdam, E-Saggila's affinity for the extremes is as conceptually critical as it is stylistically present. Riding the BPMs high, and binding this all together with ambient music's sensibilities, 'My World My Way' moves in sharp strides between a political statement and a dancefloor assault.

Four years on from his release on TIMEDANCE002 as L.SAE, Joseph Higgins is back on the label under his flagship moniker Metrist. 

Pollen Pt. I is the first part of a trilogy of records, showcasing Metrist's latest developments in twisted beat-science. The release combines four tracks of rudeboi electro swagger, off-kilter vocal chops and imaginative grooves. 

Since his L.SAE record in 2015 Metrist has released on Where To Now?, Neighborhood and an LP Opal Tapes, here he refines his sound palette even further, striking a unique balance between the avant-garde and dancefloor.
