"Andy Always Liked Glenn Better (Or…You Should Never Get Shot By Your Mother-in-Law)" is a humorous and reflective song about the twists of fate that led me back to work for Andy after vowing I never would. With Glenn out of commission—thanks to his mother-in-law’s trigger-happy ways—Andy needed my help, even after all those muttered complaints about my shortcomings. Laid off from the ad agency after the Jurassic Park account went extinct, I had no choice but to return, all while trying to stay out of trouble myself. This song captures that moment when life throws you back in the ring, whether you like it or not.

Mind Games by John Lennon from his album "Mind Games" (1973). One of my favorite John Lennon's solo stuff! I recorded everything on MCI tape machine, and then mixed in protools. I'm from Japan and there are so many things that I didn't understand in the lyrics... like "absolute elsewhere" "Mind guerrilla". I found out that John was inspired by a book called "Mind Games", so I bought it and am reading it right now. I'll let you know if I find some answers... or if you know please explain the lyrics! All I know is that the message of this song is the same as "Imagine". John said that. But with all those lyrics that I don't fully understand yet, it just works great and sounds great. The bass line is quite creative on this song. Many times, the bass is not playing the first downbeat. A lot to learn from this song! I love it.
