01. Hammer Bros - Calling Enolagay

A track dedicated to my time wasted on following politics, back when I was in a bit of a slump. Because simply put: governments ('taxes, fines, funds'[1]), banks (interest) and businesses (profit[2]) are (in)directly working together to take money from workers: so 'capitalism keeps working'[3] (literally). Ultimately, so rich paracites can live royally: no longer in castles, but in mansions; no longer segregated from workers by walls, but by wealth (rich neighborhoods); no longer protected by knights, but by policemen (workers against workers).

[1] The majority of which is wasted on bureaucracy (studies, lawsuits, lobbying) and "incompetence"[4] (overspending, mistargetting, incompletion).

[2] "Compensation" for something not requiring compensation: everything except for human labor: as for all else it is socially accepted to be exploited for free. But (actual, excluding all profit in the production-chain) cost of production is hidden from the worker, so they don't know if they are paying a fair price (which they don't): so they can only accept or have nothing.

[3] Capitalism requires a fine balance between worker capital and expenses: too much capital (or too little expenses) may lead the worker to no longer feel the need to work; whereas too little capital (or too much expenses) may lead the worker to not be able to survive (leading to protest).

[4] Often carried out by figures compensated to be thrown under the bus, despite being advised by the brightest of minds (sadly working in finance instead of science).

Oh right, about the track itself: it's a (poly) rhythmic Early Terror / Speedcore fusion, similar to Hip Hop-based tracks from: Nasenbluten, Heretik, Animal Intelligence or artists alike. It samples and is largely based on KRS-One - Higher Level.

Based in France & producing since the early 2000's have seen them release on such labels as Slaves Of Our Devil Master, Go More Core, Devil Recordings & many more greats. Not your usual distorted & fast as hell speedcore (although that's here too), this mix gives a much darker & more surreal feel while still battering you about the head. Enjoy ;-)

Tarantism Mix-013 - Desolation & Frakass

After a long absence from their main Genosha imprint, The Outside Agency – finally back from being awesome elsewhere – returns with a 12” vinyl sampler for their long-awaited Scenocide 202 album. Hardcore Beyond the Bone is a promising title that delivers as expected. The a-side starts off with The Next Storyteller, which is a beautiful melodic extrapolation of the original version that appeared on Otaku Records over seven years ago. This same side also features a collaboration project with Tapage entitled Industrial Cooking Spray. In this case the title doesn’t say it all: it’s brutal and inexcusable with a dash of acid. 

On the b-side TOA goes all green with a 140 BPM rollercoaster ride called Hidden Strengths, which manages to combine bassline house, oldschool chemical breaks and dubstep with hardcore. (This actually sounds better than it looks.) The final track on this side, Waste Management, is a fast Japanese bullet train through 2006 atmospherics and 2012 kicks. Remember: if there's a bright center to the universe, you're on the planet that it's farthest from.
