I aspired to set music to ones "secret/own place" mentally. 
I originally wrote my first draft of this piece in 2013, so you might recognize some elements from my other scores on this channel!
It started with me listening to Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, Op. 73 and got the idea from a very very short part which I became obsessed with. If you were to listen to it, I imagine you'll hear exactly what part that inspired this score!

In Her Garden

It is the dawn of April. The world enters lockdowns and imposes travel restrictions that separate us. In the US and around the globe, people grow more polarized than ever. It may seem this frenzy is the new status quo. I want to think otherwise, so I invited six composers of different genders, sexualities, and nationalities to compose a calm piano album to create unity in a divided world.
