We're bringing another label debut to Danny Howard's Nothing Else Matters imprint this summer in the form of London based DJ duo, My Friend who team up with budding newcomer and rising star, Tommy Farrow, to deliver the 'Forget Nothing' EP. Hurtling onto the scene back in 2018 when label boss, Danny Howard crowned them his 'Future Fire', My Friend have gone on to produce on various projects together, played around the world and released on some of the most respected labels in the industry. Tommy Farrow on the other hand, has catapulted through the Dance ranks following on from the overwhelming success of his debut EP on Stress Records which became a staple across many AAA DJ's sets and received high praise from Radio heavyweights Danny, MistaJam, Jaguar, Annie Mac and Pete Tong who all supported the record. Next up this August on Nothing Else Matters we bring you a release we've been super excited to share from an artist we've been a fan of for a while now, please welcome Brighton based DJ, producer and vocalist, Bklava, with her NEM debut release, the 'Anywhere With You' EP. Despite only making her emergence onto the scene at the tail-end of 2019, Bklava has already announced herself as one of the hottest prospects in Dance music. With regular support from BBC Radio 1's Jaguar, Sarah Story, Pete Tong and label boss, Danny Howard, her music exhibits her expansive vocals paired with irresistibly smooth beats, and it's this formula that dictates her unique live performances, where she can be found singing and seamlessly mixing at the same time – quite the impressive feat! Spanish DJ and producer, Daniel Orpi, is the next newcomer to join the NEM fam with his brand new, ‘High Vibrations’ EP. Making waves all the way from Barcelona, Daniel Orpi is a welcome addition to the modern dance scene.

Based in London, Daniel has dived headfirst into the underground music space, emerging with unique mixes and sounds that have impressed music legends including label boss, Danny Howard. Since 2016, Orpi and his music creation has been non-stop.

Making his debut on the Nothing Else Matters imprint this summer is UK based House, Techno & Disco DJ and producer, Ben Bux, with his brand-new single, ‘Shadows & Dust’. Purveyor of infectious grooves and an energy inducing atmosphere, Ben Bux plays across a whole spectrum of genres. His infatuation with Dance music began at an early age when he developed a taste for Trance and Progressive House. Rising DJ and producer, Fleur Shore makes her debut on Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint this March, with brand new EP, ‘In Your Soul’ which features Dutch singer/songwriter, Divine. Refusing to conform to the norm and never following the formulas that work for others, Fleur Shore is very much an artist leading from the forefront.

The depth and breadth of her musical knowledge is years ahead since acquiring a record collection from an early age that exuded the magic of the late ‘80s and ‘90s; this period of experimentation is present in both Fleur’s sets and productions. As a DJ, her appreciation for the art of the warm-up set, technical ability, and approach to playing differently secured her a residency at Birmingham’s clubbing institution Lab11 for flagship underground party TRMNL and other notable gigs at Fabric, The Warehouse Project & Ushuaïa.

We’ve got a very special release for you this month on Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint in the form of a new EP series titled, ‘Generation Z’. This new EP concept will bring together new and up and coming artists who we are looking to showcase on the label. Our first offering comprises three killer tracks from UK artists BluePrint, Because of Art and James Organ. Kicking the series off is BluePrint with his track, ‘The Mind Is As Deep As You Make It’ which offers snaking synth leads combined with atmospheric chords and tension building snares that combine with warping sub tones to reveal a powerful, peak time production. Next up is DJ and production duo, Because of Art with their track ‘Elevate’ which offers all manner of stepping chords and arpeggiated synths. It’s a big metallic track that is built on twisting, turning, crashing drums and is designed perfectly for maximum effect in strobe lit clubs. Last but not least, we have James Organ with his track, ‘Faded’ which offers crisply mixed percussion and a pulsating low-end which underpins a series of hypnotic synth hooks that grow throughout with subtle melodic hints and muffled vocals adding to the atmospherics of the track.

Opening with Mat.Joe’s signature flow, fuelled by icy snares and a bouncing bassline, ‘Off Ma Mind’ combines 80’s influenced melodies with colourful, yet punchy vocals to reveal another powerful release on the imprint and an impressive label debut in the process from the duo.
