I was looking for something to dedicate to my father the only way I know how. This song was perfect because the pieces of the song that I used definitely fit everything I wanted to say to my father. My father and I did not have the greatest relationship. The mistakes he made when I was a kid lead to the distancing between us which resulted in a lot of resentment and anger.

When I was diagnosed with leukemia, my father was by my side the whole time and I didn't even know it. It began the easing of the troubled waters between us. I worked really hard to make it that I could see him again. I tried to see him before I moved to Atlanta but so many bad things made it hard for us not to see each other including him getting diagnosed with cancer. 

I really wished that I could literally travel the distance between Atlanta and New York just to see him one last time. I was almost there and I came home from work Monday night (Tuesday morning) to learn that he had died.

I didn't make this to be a dancing track but it's the only way I knew how to make something in memory of him.

After a small stint of living in Baltimore, I learned about Baltimore Club Music and I was hooked. I made my first track in 2011 and have gotten my sound out as far as Japan. My influences are producers like DJ Technics, DJ Tameil, Debonair Samir, Rod Lee, Blaqstarr, DJ Booman, K.W. Griff, and Say Wut. My specialty is turning video game soundtracks into Baltimore club remixes but this page will have all kinds of stuff.
