In March 2007, Inigo Kennedy put Token on the map with our first release ‘Identify Yourself’.
7 years & 10 releases later, he now releases his first full length on Token: ‘Vaudeville’, a project that feels like the culmination of all those years and all those records.
In true, theatrical manner, Vaudeville is a collection of differing themes - from the abstract and freakishly odd to the direct and resonant. And just as the Vaudevillian shares a common purpose with his co-stars as the 'voice of the city'('voix de ville'), there runs through the centre of this record a clear narrative for urban experience.

On 14 April we are releasing a single to portend the full show: 'Lullaby'/'Petrichor'. These two tracks will stand alone on a 12'' vinyl, with the rest of Vaudeville released as a 2xLP & CD on the 2nd June.

This was worth the wait, we promise.

New label Unterwegs Records debut with a split V/A 12" of four deep and hypnotic tracks from label owner Decka (SPE:C) and up-and-comer Other Form (Unknown Movements). 

Decka's two tracks are formed with polyrhythmic, mind-bending synth trips and staggering locked grooves; both killer dance floor weapons in their own right. 

Other Form brings exquisitely produced, earth-shuddering artefacts to the B side, concentrated in dynamic low end.

CT Kidobó - You Dont Know ('94 Teenage Mix)

Active Multiples is a four track EP from Miami producer, H1MOD. The release features two remixes. One from Detroit producer, Joe Sousa and one from Chicago’s, Rob Threezy. The release kicks off with Circuit Noise, an effective sci-fi styled techno tool outfitted with 909 percussion, and a modulating synth drum. The second original, Cloud Nine, gets on with a churning low end groove, atmospheric textures, hypnotic synth elements, and sharp drums. The remix of, Cloud Nine, comes courtesy of Joe Sousa.  Joe deconstructs the original and reshapes it into a rugged break beat take complete with rough grooves and a dark droning synth.  Rob Threezy comes through with his take on, Circuit Noise.  Puts forth a groove based rework of the original with a touch of swing and reworking of the synth sequence.

She wanted people to knew how far were they could get, taking them to the end of their capabilities.

Es la diosa de la noche en la mitología nórdica. Se caracterizaba por su imponente presencia, fue una mujer dura, de ideas claras y objetivas que odiaba las actitudes rosas. Aun así, siempre tuvo una actitud solidaria, impulsando el esfuerzo de las personas, aunque estás ignorarán que ella fuera una deidad. Sus intenciones eran que supieran hasta dónde eran capaces de llegar, llevándolos al extremo de sus capacidades.
