BROR Records presents its third instalment with a split 12-inch record with two original tracks. Delivered from the west coast of Sweden, city of Gothenburg.

After his first appearance on the labels second release with the widely appreciated remix of „Stateunknwn”, Arkajo (Genius of Time / Aniara Recordings) returns with the highly effective five minute break workout „Vamp”. A track initially presented as part of Arkajo’s live set now finally sees the light of day as part of this vinyl.

On the B-side BROR proudly holds the debut of DJ Lily. With a planned EP on BROR04 in October, DJ Lily presents the atmospheric techno trip „Folia” that stylistically paves the way for the next release.

To launch the brand new label with a bang, Midland has called up four exciting new artists for a split EP called 'Introduction' and it's one that showcases fresh new talent across four different soundscapes.

Here we premiere Peach's debut track 'Silky' and after she made it into our 30 Under 30,000 list at the start of the year, we're eagerly anticipating what 2018 will bring. If this track is anything to go by, we're in for something special.

Aerea Negrot offers up the ‘Pisco Sauer’ EP on Shaun J. Wright & Alinka’s Twirl imprint this February, accompanied by remixes from Honey Soundsystem’s Jason Kending and Shaun J. Wright himself.
The inimitable Aerea Negrot has grown to become a highly respected figure in the Berlin underground scene over the past few years. Originally hailing from Venezuala before relocating to the German capital, Negrot has regularly played at clubs such as Salon Zur Wilden Renate, Griessmuehle, about://blank, Suicide Circus and an appearance at Berghaun’s Panorama Bar in 2018 amongst releasing material on BPitch, Batty Bass and more.
Here though we see Aerea Negrot return to Twirl, following a remix of the label-heads’ ‘Need Someone’ back in 2015, with a new single in the shape of ‘Pisco Sauer’. The original mix leads and lays focus on dynamic, crunchy drums, heady resonant bleeps and murky bass arps at its core while soft pads and cinematic leads ebb and flow within.
Honey Soundsystem’s Jason Kendig steps on remix duties next, turning in a more refined take on things, extracting the soul of the original and reshaping it with a more direct groove-driven feel before Twirl co-founder Shaun J. Wright rounds out the package with his remix, opting for off-kilter electro drums and mind-bending analogue arpeggios whilst stirring in the elements of the original throughout.

"In many ways Spring seems to be the perfect seasonal match for upsammy: no matter the tempo nor intensity, her style is colourful, restorative and carries a tangible promise of new beginnings. So Wild Chamber arrives at the right time, but it is an evergreen package – eight songs to slot into different situations, to speak to different moods, yet come from the same heart. A mini-LP that captures dawn mist, reflecting-pool shimmer, and occasional flashes of brilliant blue light. Swells of bass sag and yawn, time signatures switch up and break down, drums stutter and charge, and gossamer melodic trails are traced like ice skates atop a thawing lake. Innumerable shards of ideas are present, yet the music is airy and uncluttered. Wild Chamber is upsammy at her most pure, sketching sonic miniatures with a precise eye and an inquisitive ear quite unlike anyone else’s right now."

PREMIERE: Pablo Splice -2 the 9s [Woodwork Recordings]

Beautiful faces and well-dressed people stared back at her from the front of the glossy magazines. She dispised this fabricated image of coolness that these publications purported; they were no models to follow, they were the antithesis of her own perception of what's cool. Rummaging in her bag, she brandished a black pen, removed the cap and fashioned them all matching glasses and moustaches.  

Six years after his debut on Gang Of Ducks, which helped define the early sound of the label, Milan-based producer Haf Haf returns with Pattern In Chaos. Like the name suggests the eight tracks blur the lines between genres, seeing him explore the boundaries of production to find new sonic pathways. Described by the label as "a really singular record which moves energies in a new way", each track is unconventional and surprising, twisting themselves into different and unexpected forms.
