When I went to my first Friends & Family campout I dreamed of one day spinning an opening set Saturday at the pool. For my seventh FnF I was able to manifest that dream and had one of my best days ever.

Last summer, we made a quick pit stop in London, where we were able to explore sonic landscapes with eager ears and hearts.  I remember basking in the hot sun, during one London's hotter summer days.  It was spending and amazing.  This set is inspired from some of the sounds that I heard while I was there: Tracks feature Joy Orbison, Terr, ANOTR, Michael Bibi, Eddy M., Josh Butler, Bebetta & CIOZ, and The Cure.

Summer Night Funk Fiesta (September 2023)

I created this set in memory of a good friend Josh Grant. My last conversation with Josh was of him asking me to play a set for his birthday, unfortunately he didn’t make it to his birthday. Losing Josh was extremely hard for our friend group as Josh was a bright beaming light to us. He energy was fun, flirty and contagious. It was impossible not to be lit up by him, especially when on the dance floor. The day of his celebration of life was marked by double rainbows, showing us that even tho no longer with us on this plane of existence he was still with us, guiding us, loving us and lighting up our lives in extraordinary ways. Love always and forever my dear friend 🌈🌈
