SavaBorsa brings a twisted hypnotic version of Camino Rojo del Corazón's @caminorojo amazing hungarian language song "Csattogó" featuring Adri. All the words in the lyrics starts with a toungbreaker "CS" letter what is very common in hungarian and east europen languages but not really in the west. The rework is a dancefloor focused track but still keeping the original's ceremonical vibe. Original will be released also on our Beauteous Beats label soon.. Enjoy!

Social Criticism in Lauryn Hill's 'Doo Wop (That Thing)'
Lauryn Hill's song 'Doo Wop (That Thing)' is an empowerment anthem and a sharp social critique, released in 1998 as part of her acclaimed album 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill'. The song addresses themes of self-respect, sexuality and the dangers of being carried away by appearances and materialism.
In the first verse, Hill speaks directly to women, warning them about the dangers of allowing themselves to be used by men who are only interested in 'that thing'. She criticizes the idea that women must conform to standards of beauty and behavior in order to be accepted or loved, mentioning 'hair weaves like Europeans' and 'fake nails done by Koreans' as examples of how women are pressured to conform to external standards. The artist also references religious and historical figures, such as Jezebel, to illustrate the consequences of straying from one's own principles and values.
The second verse is directed at men, criticizing those who prioritize material possessions and status over their responsibilities and relationships. Hill calls out toxic behaviors such as domestic violence and irresponsible fatherhood, and questions how these men can hope to succeed in life if they are not right on the inside. Yes, it is in this spiraling downwards, this descent into slowing down and the state of being, that we face our emptiness and restlessness. It's in the darkness that the transformation takes place, where that which we surrender to, creates the soil for new evolutions to take place. 

Take heart: softness and release are never far away. Let the thoughts and feelings come and welcome them home. 

Feel the earth underneath you and trust: Winter and the void is where all guidance, all dreams, all creativity and all of life come from. 

What is your greatest prayer? How deeply can you surrender? How soft can you become?
