Camellia - FM Synthesis Experiment

Mixed for loudness in order to fit album (Isocentric Momentum), so dynamics are a bit wonky, sorry!

I wanted to do some heavy story-telling for this track. You can interpret it however you want of course, here's how I was envisioning it:

0:00 - 0:55 > The Meteor Server slowly headed towards the Earth

0:56 - 1:29 > A piece of the Meteor Server breaks off and quickly approaches the city

1:30 - 1:55 > The pair of protagonists watch as the Meteorite destroys the whole city, the radius of the devastation ever-growing

1:55 - 2:52 > The pair hop on a hoverbike and ride in tandem, with one attempting to hack the Meteor Server's trajectory while the other drives through the chaos

 2:52 - 3:34 > The pair finally escape and survive the devastation. They stumble upon a Mecha in the ruins, still in pristine condition. After some inner monologue and whatnot, they both pilot it.

3:34 - 3:56 > Takeoff. They blast off towards the Meteor.

3:56 - 4:42 > Battle against the Meteor Server. They throw out all the firepower they can muster, using everything they got in order to stop this thing. After exhausting their arsenal, they do one last-ditch move: Set thrusters to max and charge head-on into the Meteor.

4:44 - END > Crash.

Annihilation in F# Minor

Artcore is a weird and confusing genre that when I was tasked to make an artcore track, I was at a loss for what to go for. 

So I kept it simple: Piano, Violin, DnB. Just tell a story.

On the compositional side, I made use of a lot of call-and-response for this one.
