As a well-traveled songwriter, Timothy Jaromir has an open view of the world. The many points of contact he has had with other people and places shine through again and again in his music. He sings about his own personal experiences, and the stories that have particularly touched him on his journey.

Themes of immigration, uprooting, and home have always been of particular concern to him. This may be due to the fact that Jaromir's family itself is scattered all over the world: his mother is English and his wife is Canadian. Hiraeth - the title song of his current album - tells the story of his father, who fled from Czechoslovakia to Switzerland in 1968.

Jaromir is also musically connected to his wife Rykka. They have been collaborating on their joint Americana-Folk project Goldschatz since 2018. Jaromir’s musical journey started many years earlier with his debut album Salton Sea, which came out in 2010. Since then, Jaromir has played at the Montreux Jazz Festival, celebrated a successful collaboration with Pablo Nouvelle, toured with follow-up albums through Denmark, Poland, Germany, Canada and Switzerland and made it into the German Airplay Charts.

A well-established team, he and his wife run their joint label Vissen Records together. In his music, Jaromir playfully combines folk, blues and indie pop elements and builds a bridge between the classic and the modern, creating something new by reinterpreting the old. Timothy Jaromir accompanies us on a journey, like a friend we have known for a long time.

Valerio Lepori, born 1989 in Zurich, started playing the trombone when he was 8 years old and successfully completed his master’s degree in music education and composition in January 2016. He studied the trombone with Nils Wogram, Andreas Tschopp and Markus Wüest and composition with Ed Partyka and Dieter Ammann. At the age of 16 he taught himself how to play the piano and wrote several compositions and arrangements for various ensembles. Currently he's on the road as a live musician in a number of bands including The Sheiks, The Jammin Band, Klischée, The Killin' Jivers, Soulmanicas, Der Grosse Bär and others.
