Featuring a range of his own productions, live improvisations and organic samples, this mixtape tells a story that takes us to a world without borders or geographical boundaries.
Born and raised in Berlin, Javid’s music takes us on a journey through everlasting traditions and rituals of the Middle East, tribal vocals from Africa and organic sounds he’s collected from around the world. His Persian heritage and unique cultural influences fuse together to create a soundscape he describes as “ethno techno” - with basslines full of tangible tension and melodies tainted with melancholia.

Klänge können heilsam sein, beruhigen und in die Stille führen, aber auch anregend sein und Energie in Bewegung bringen. Klänge können uns zutiefst berühren und uns gleichermaßen unvermittelt zum Lachen oder Weinen bringen. Klänge sind entscheidender Bestandteil unseres DaSeins!
"Nada" ist der Klang und "Brahma" ist der Schöpfer, also so etwas wie der Urklang, die Ur-Vibration. "Alles ist Klang" - d.h. alles ist Schwingung, alles schwingt - ist lebendig - miteinander verwoben - sich beeinflussend, - nicht sichtbar mit dem physischen Auge, aber spürbar - alles durchdringend.
Alles schwingt miteinander.
Die Welt ist Klang – das sagen nicht nur die Veden sondern inzwischen auch die neue Physik – dass in den kleinsten Teilchen letztlich nur noch Schwingung übrig bleibt. Und wenn ich mich als Mensch & Musiker mit Schwingungen und ihren harmonikalen Gesetzmäßigkeiten beschäftige, welche sich in unzähligen Möglichkeiten manifestieren und ablesen lassen, komme ich immer wieder zur heilenden, harmonisierenden Botschaft von Musik auf diesem Planeten.. und bin dankbar dafür!

Suduaya is a french guitarist and producer. After many years working on different bands (heavy metal, rap, ethno/world/fusion) he released in 2011 his first psytrance track on the Klopfgeister’s compilation “Stand up against gravity” (Iono Music). He joined Altar Records with his album “Dreaming Sun” (september 2011), followed by “Unity” wich came out in 2013. Many releases came up over the years on different labels, including BMSS Records, Y.S.E and recently Iboga Records.

Suduaya has been playing worldwilde, S.U.N. Festival (Hungary), Summer Never Ends (Switzerland), Psy-Fi (Netherlands), Spirit Base (Austria), DOOF Festival (Israel), Tree Of Life (Turkey), Utopia Boom Landing (Portugal), Hadra Festival (France), Ometeolt (Mexico), Trimurti (Russia), The Experience Festival (Thailand), Transition Festival (Spain), Forest Star Festival (Sweden) among others...

Over the years, he has made different collaborations and remixes with well recognized singers and producers, such as Irina Mikhailova, Zero Cult, Liquid Soul, Sideform, Ovnimoon, Egorythmia, Lyctum, Zyce, Aioaska, and more.

The names of the gods of the Olmec are not known other than that they often represented phenomena such as rain, the earth and especially maize. For this reason, identifiable gods from Olmec art have been given numbers instead of names (e.g. God VI). 

The Olmecs gave special significance to the animals present in their environment, especially those at the top of the food chain such as jaguars, eagles, caimans, snakes and even sharks, identifying them with divine beings and perhaps also believing that powerful rulers could transform themselves at will into such fearsome creatures.

Existing between the worlds first known continents Menachem's ancestors been to Western Europe to Northen Africa & Middle East. In 1926, Menachem came to this life with all this inheritance and created a family in the middle of his ancient geography. 

When Menachem died, he briefly manageed to see his grandson. And of course the grandson has no recollection of his grandfather. When the grandson "Menachem" learns the meaning of his name he decides to seek for his grandfather's legacy. After all this search he found the legacy within the riffs of the strings, within the touches to percussions.  He then added modern riffs in order to create a bridge to his contemporary taste.

And this is what Menachem 26 sharing: "A legacy from a grandfather to a grandson"

Sunset Grooves began 6 years ago and back then the idea of having 10 mixes was already an achievement.... we are now at Number 150 and the talent that has passed through this podcast is unbelievable with so many artists who were not necessarily known when they made their mix for Sunset, but are know headlining events is so dope to see! https://soundcloud.com/funky-chap is proud and inspired! 

For this special 150th edition it is an absolute pleasure to have done a b2b with the wonderful https://soundcloud.com/atroposvibes . To put you in context, we literally began this mix while the sun was setting and finished well into the dark! A musical journey of all sorts of sub genres and references starting off at 92bpm and finishing at 119bpm. It wasn't easy finding our bearings at the beginning but we then found the flow, the mojo, THAT vibe and just kept on giving! The mix is by no means perfect, but the imperfections is what makes this set a sunset grooves musical experience and a real b2b! Not afraid to try out tracks we had never played or even thought about putting together. Hopefully we can show you the "making of" video as we laughed and danced like mad men who love music!

Lampenfieber

Meine Anspannung steigt, so wie jedes Mal kurz bevor es los geht. Mein Herz beginnt mit einer höheren Frequenz zu schlagen. Langsam aber kontinuierlich bilden sich Schweißperlen auf meinem ganzen Körper, sowohl vor Aufregung als auch vor Vorfreude. Ich schaue mich um und lächele meinen Bandkollegen aufmunternd zu, keiner scheint es wirklich wahrzunehmen, wahrscheinlich ist gerade jeder in seiner eigenen Welt.

Ich nehme meine Gitarre zur Hand, 
mit zittrigen Fingern stimme ich die Seiten nun schon zum vierten Mal. Erstmal ein Schluck von meinem Bier und eine Beruhigungs Zigarette. Draußen treffe ich Benji, so wie jedes Mal. Es ist fast zu einem kleinen Ritual geworden, dass wir die letzte Kippe vor dem Auftritt gemeinsam rauchen. Gemächlich atme ich den Rauch in meine Lungen und puste ihn kraftig wieder aus. Keiner von uns sagt ein Wort. In Gedanken bin ich beim vorletzten Stück, da hakt es noch ein wenig bei mir. Während ich im Kopf die Melodie noch einmal durchgehe, bewegen sich meine Finger zu einem Rhythmus, den nur ich hören kann. Ich hebe den Blick und sehe das mich Benji stirnrunzelend ansieht. Ich muss lachen, zucke mit den Achseln und sage etwas peinlich berührt: "Lampenfieber". Nun fängt Benji an zu lachen: "Ich weiß gar nicht warum gerade du dir immer so einen Kopf machst, du bist wohl unser kleinstes Problem". Jetzt lachen wir beide. Benji fragt: "Wollen wir rein zu den anderen?". Ich nicke und folge ihm durch die Tür in den verlotterten Backstagebereich. Keine zehn Minuten später stehen wir alle gemeinsam auf der Bühne und spielen die nächsten zwei Stunden für ungefähr 60 Leute. 
Sʌη Miguel ist der Künstler hinter dem heutigen Podcast. Mit einem solchen Set im Ohr, vergeht auch dem letzten Hasenfuß das Lampenfieber. Wir sagen Dankeschön für anderthalb Stunden pure Entspannung.
