Today is my birthday and therefore i brought a little present with me :)
I made this track a few years ago so it might sound a bit dusty around the corners haha

I wanted to share this anyway, because of 2 reasons:
1. it´s a happy track which dont come around that often.
2. this will be the last possible moment to get that moose out..

I am currently working on a new sound and my first live set :)))
This is a huge thing for me, and i am already excited too see if y´all like it!
Anyway, the moose wont fit there anymore so im squeezing this out now.

Known for his flamboyant stage presence, wearing bold and colorful outfits with his distinctive hairstyles, Variações's music was a fusion genres, from rock, pop, folk, and his magic and influence continues to these days, making him one of the most beloved figures in Portugal's cultural history!
Fun fact is that before he became a musician, he was a famous barber in Lisbon!

António Variações - Canção (Nyvs Edit)

Edit for Besima of Side B from mononome's release entitled "Loralai".

I couldn't resist remixing Mononome's "Besima" when I first encountered its cheerful vibes. Enamored by the uplifting sample, I decided making a purposeful edit to seamlessly integrate it into my downtempo sets. 

This remix is not only a nod to Mononome's original work but also my way of infusing the track with a little bit more drive, ensuring it fits effortlessly into the flow of a downtempo set.

Each encounter tells a story of its own expressed through song K2 is a mountain in Pakistan, which is also the second highest peak in the world. I am originally from Pakistan hence the inspiration for the name, as it can be linked backed to my roots. The W0(zero) is there to make it “two” while adding a bit of mystery. A mixture bewtween the vocals of "Newclus - Jam On It" and a slightly adapted version of my song "The Fish".
So it´s a kinda crossover-ish remix approach ;)
"The Fish" is a highly hip-shaking funk-approach on bouncy downtempo.
But who doesn´t like some good old hip-hop vocals blended into that?
Therefore Senior Citizen made the mashup with the vocals of "Newclus -Jam On It" to extend the song even further.
Grab yourself a morning coffee or favorite dancing shoes, cause there is a risk involved that you´ll start your day with a good vibe, that get´s you moving.

In Argentine and Latin American folk music, everyone will agree that there is a clear before and after, and this change instigator was no other than Mercedes Sosa. This is my Tribute Edit to her, “La Negra”, "The Voice of America".

About this edit :
Discovering and dusting off the folklore of Italian classical music, I came across Sergio Bruni's version of Scetate and I immediately felt a strong inspiration for the evident Arab influence conferred on Neapolitan culture. Scetate is a song composed in 1887 - lyrics by Ferdinando Russo and music by Mario Pasquale Costa. Like all traditional Napolitan songs it has been interpreted by many masters of the Neapolitan song.  I sampled Sergio Bruni's version and the beautiful ethnic strings of Massimo Ranieri's interpretation.  Have a good listening.

@xxande-music is a musical project by Alessandro Izzo.  Always a great fan of electronic music, he started exploring music production very early, even before discovering clubs.  After his experiences as a DJ and techno music producer he decided to deepen his strong passion at the SAE Institute where he followed studies of Audio Engineering and Music Business and then entered some important recording studios as a sound engineer.  Alessandro is part of the “2040” duo thanks to which he came into contact with labels such as Amselcom, Akumandra, Sweet Music, Plötzlich, URS, Heimlich, Circle and Stones and many others.  Xande started as a downtempo project with the purpose of making the folklore of Italian popular music known to the world, but it's only just beginning!
