From her stint in London to heading back down under Australian selector Marlie has become part of the new breed of artists climbing the ranks of the underground. She can be found regularly spinning at some of the hottest parties and has made her name based on vibe-fuelled sets at the likes of fabric, The Egg, as well as her native raves Subsonic, S.A.S.H. and of course her very own nocturnal project Roots.

Not one to lay around in one genre for too long Marlie’s collate a smoothly curated soundtrack that not only features minimal but also sun-flecked house, acid, and bombastic breaks. This Ozzy chick belies her demure exterior and is more than capable of melting faces should the mood take her. On her InSession mix for we find Marlie in a similarly dextrous mode as she delivers one for the sunshine hours.

French artist Romar has steadily been making his way towards the upper echelons of the minimal house community. His lush, groove-packed productions have meant he has been called upon to deliver tracks for the likes Atipic, Tvir, Crossed Grooves, and Saga. As well as the tight beats that Romar is well known for producing for other labels he also has a clutch of top labels of his own in RORA and sub-labels Ode and Blue Ciel. 

We could talk about Romar’s slick productions all day, and it’s quite possible, but we also need to discuss how good a DJ he is too. A firm fixture at Supermarket the Frenchman regularly is called upon to head up the finest parties and play supporting roles for the biggest names in the business. His selection of sumptuous basslines, pristine beats, and tightly knitted mixes are all weapons at Romar’s disposal and his mix for us is as smooth as it gets.

Real Deal Records co-founder Jake Hodgkinson is an old hand when it comes to rocking parties. From Half Baked, The Lion and Lamb, Art of Dark, and North South parties Jake has delivered a master class in his unique brand of acidic wonky tech house but it doesn’t stop there. Bass heavy, glitched out beats snake in between more upfront house bombs to create a swaggering sound profile that is made for one reason and one reason only – to blow up a dancefloor. 

It goes without saying that his Real Deal Records imprint has featured several times and the posthumous release of Andy Panayi’s was a snapshot of their stance on the greats. Unearthing gems and breaking new bangers is what Jake does and his mix for our podcast series is testament to this. If you are needing some attitude injected into your day then you are going to love this mix…

Santiago Vieira aka SV3 is a Uruguayan musician/producer borned and raised in Barrio Sur, Montevideo.

At an early age of 4, Santiago started his path into music by studying in the Taller Uruguayo de Música Popular (T.U.M.P.). 

Strongly surrounded by artists, his passion for electronic music began when he was a teenager influenced by the clubs he went to and talented local artists from his hometown such as Z@p, DJ Koolt, Matías Muten, Nicolas Lutz, Hernán González aka Two Phase U, Santiago Uribe and many more.

Later on, he participated in locally respected projects such as @deeper.uy and @atemporal.discos. The first one is a prestigious Uruguayan party and the second one is a rising vinyl store.

On this occasion he presents us his first Live format Set inviting Software and analog hardware.

The next Nugcast comes from a Norwegian artist that needs no introduction.

@rub800 is a Oslo-based DJ and producer. Together with Tonchius he runs the newly established label Continually and he also co-runs Shadow Hide You with Terje Bakke.
In terms of musical landscapes, he likes to blend many styles and moods presented through years of digging and tuning of his sound.
He has released on labels such as Phi, Mood Waves, Small Hours, LowMoneyMusicLove, in addition to his own Shadow Hide You and Continually. 
It is in his veins to always be searching for old and new treasures on waxx combined with endless hours in the studio. Therefore you could expect more music coming from him and his fellow collab's in the coming future.

Born in Bruxelles, the Scottish-Italian selector is now based in Madrid. Due to his diverse background, he absorbed influences from different cultures that have shaped, and continue to refine, his sound-palette.

He is the founder and resident of Quinoa, an immersive event concept that merges music, visual arts and interactive instalations now active in Madrid and Barcelona.

@rsamsc is a project created by Rogério Soares member and resident of the Vedana Records, where he seeks the most refined sentiment of his listeners, currently focusing his research on minimalist sounds with energetic grooves and expressive melodies developing a unique atmosphere at each presentation. He plays a big scene in the region of São Paulo, where he and the crew from Vedana, did a series of parties together with great artists such as, Gene On Earth.

Number #3 is from a very good friend from the UK.
@samuelpadden is a self confessed music junkie with 5 years under his belt in experience and is now coming to fruit in his productions. Intelligent forward thinking dance music is what he is promoting, taking inspiration from all corners of electronic music and making it his own. He also has a flair for selection and digging seemingly mixing electro house techno and minimal from new to old and everything in between. In 2018 he released his first records in labels like MINERAL and Girasole Records, witch was supported and played by Evan Baggs. In 2019 and 2020 he released new records in labels such as Threads, Tone Dropout and Sol Azylum.

Currently focused on his publisher Cross Over (Bandcamp Only), and his live performances, he delivers this podcast influenced by his roots, house, techno, minimal and trance.
