≠Nu /Uas (listen to the poem to get the correct pronunciation) was written over a year ago for the 2012 Spoken Word 'Namlish' show. I wanted to incorporate my mother tongue into my poetry and it seemed like a good idea to do it musically. It is always a pleasure performing this piece and so, by popular demand, here it is.

Black Vulcanite’s Mark Mushiva recently linked up with a Norwegian based artist who goes by Vuyo (what are the odds?) on his latest release titled Amandla. 

The duo linked while Black Vulcanite were in Norway for an artist’s retreat on Aukra Island.  It was there that the pair got to work on what will be the upcoming Never Show Thy Enemies Love 2 mixtape. The majority of the production will be handled by Oseasis Xavier from Portugal who also produced this song

The song Amandla allows both Mark and Vuyo to speak on their experiences in a so called “Post Racial” South Africa and Namibia while reflecting on what their forbearers endured.
