We had a beautiful stage, night, crowd and time thanks to the lovelies of fernab and of course the whole festival.

Affair №1 — Dr. Irmstein @ Château Perché 2016

Spring is calling us to sattle our easter bunnies and to ride to new adventures with the people of the slow tribe. It is a sunshine gathering of a special kind. In the far distant we see the smoke of the peace pipe that has lit up to celebrate the return of the birth star of the tribe leader Slawik, ready for his Slow Awakening. We arrive just before twilight, when sun and moon both kiss the sky. The sounds of the drums are coming closer, we are ready for the sunset ritual and all the spirits start to dance with sun, moon and mango.

The aim was to record a mix full of positive and uplifting music. I started this session with some chilled and jazzy Dubstep beats and  it ended up with some of my all time favorite Electronica, 2 step and Post-Dubstep tunes. I didn’t expected this myself but you just have to go with the flow ;) I like the result. And I hope you like it too!

Oakin a versatile DJ and producer with a wide range of bass music. From the deep sea of Ambient Dubstep and Chill Out sounds over to the valleys of Dub and Soundsystem Music to the higher heights of forward Dubstep, Electronica and Drum & Bass. With an experience of more than 20 years behind the decks and precise feeling for the vibe of the crowd he is prepared for every kind of setting with his own style of deep bass music. Music with soul & substance without genre borders.

Over the years he started producing his own tunes and released them on labels like Smallprint Recordings, WobWob, Dank’n’Dirty Dubs and Surfase Records. His focus and passion is DJing and performing at clubs and festivals on proper soundsystems.
