When Funken came to us, offering us one of two tracks of this little epic EP, we were amazed and choosing one was quite difficult! Both are just beautiful, surprising, superbly crafted and mixed... sensitive, and though so different, both songs share this unique and special vibe and complement each other perfectly. 
A music to hypnotize you with it's fragrance of Oriental magic and electronic excellence.

This set is dedicated to a traditional japanese poetry. Kojo - No - Tsuki is a poem by Doi Bansui. It was set to music by Rentarō Taki and is widely known as a folk song in Japan.

The Moon over the Ruined Castle
Flowery feast in spring high up in the castle Cups of sake were passed around Lit by the moonlight through the old pine branches
Where is that old moonlight now?
Encampment in autumn was white covered with frost A number of geese honked as they flew across the sky The moonlight shined on the swords thrusted upright into the ground Where is that old moonlight now?
Now at midnight the moon is right above For whom does it shine like in the past? Nothing remains on the rampart but some ivy Nothing to hear but the rustle of pine branches in the storm
Up in the sky the moon and the stars remain unchanged But in the earthly life, rises and falls come and go Does the moon hang there to reflect those changes? Ah! the midnight moon over the ruined castle

@Dirlasion from Thessaloniki, Greece.He has been mixing some crazy tunes for the past 30 years he has been in the industry.His sets takes us on a journey to continents with diverse cultures and he has a hold on several genres like electronic, psychill, ambient and of course downtempo.

This is a spiritual journey, a deeper approach than usual mixes. Serious storytelling. Not just art, not just sounds. Power in the music and message. From styles from the trippy side to the dreamy side, or both! It has a deeply spiritual focus. With serious storytelling. With great ethno-organic, organic house, slowtech, psychill, psydub, psybient, downtempo, and whatever else encapsulates the otherworldly in this world. :)

Getting us back to the beginning energies of mankind, thus "primordial" energy. A exploration of the heart and soul and mind and body to find what makes us connected since the very beginning of mankind. What do we share as human beings and various tribes? This energy empowers and also heals us to the core. It is the life force, so the mix will have that original life force and be share in the way of all stories of the ancient storytelling oral tradition, which make up true history that is passed down from generation to generation.

Dirlasion and Desert Raven (@desertravenmusic):  Dirlasion is a good friend and spiritual brother to Desert Raven, the mystical DJ-producer and founder of The Odyssey, Primordial Grooves, Rakhma, and Mystical Vision music collectives.  Dirlasion is currently helping Desert Raven, through his biggest mission yet, in the Mystical Vision community, cultivate a strong, spiritually-centered music community based on mysticism, healing, honest conversations among members of society, and a deeper journey in life, including the search for God, particularly in music.  Desert Raven and Dirlasion both believe that electronic music absolutely has room for their type of deeper, spiritually-focused music and that mystical vision is needed to help discern the world around us and convey a more lasting and powerful message of love.

Als gebürtiges Ostseekind hat Stephan jederzeit den Strandsand zwischen den Zehen und fühlt sich in der Nähe des Wassers einfach am wohlsten. Lockig wie einst seine Haare versprüht er seit seinem 18. Lebensjahr den Discovibe. Gestartet als Trashmaster 3000 in früheren Zeiten, machte er sich auf so mancher 80er und 90er Party in seiner Heimatregion beliebt. Nach vielen Experimenten hat er 2015 seine liebe zur langsamen, elektronischen Musik entdeckt. Der von ihm liebevoll genannte "Trash" spiegelt sich aber immernoch wieder und so findet man in nahezu all seinen Mixen etwas aus den vergangenen Jahrzehnten. Gepaart mit einem schwungvollen Elektrobeat, zieht er mittlerweile viele Zuhörer:innen in seinen Bann und ist nicht mehr nur an der Ostsee zu hören. 2018 gründete er mit seinem Faultierbuddy @Stelzenlaeufermusic die @Faultierdisko in Rostock und wurde so auch über die Grenzen Mecklenburgs hinaus bekannt.
