Nast Majest is an artist, producer, and engineer based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Fusing hip-hop, jazz, experimental bass and whatever else he feels like, Nast attempts to recreate memories passed into an audible form through instrumentation and sound design.

Creative music, collab live sessions, deep bass and often breakbeats infused with spirit lyrics and illuminating samples.   

Spanning genres flow from Drum & Bass to Tribal to House sessions and Jazz tones built to dance to.

Born and learned to dance in DTLA warehouses and Ventura Cubs, then DJing Patries, Raves, Undergrounds, Outdoor Gatherings, through the 1990s from Ventura to Humboldt to New Dehli India and Lake Pokhara, and from DC to China then Japan, and now dreams of Seventh Heaven MixMastering

Having always felt a profound love for music and the outdoors, Katahdin is the manifestation of a lifelong pursuit to become more connected with the Earth and its inhabitants by means of artistic expression.

Through exploration of psychedelic frequencies, Katahdin utilizes their fascination with intricate sound design to create sonic journeys charged with the intention of connecting to our roots in nature and the cosmos, as well as the inherent human desire to dance - all while acknowledging the duality that exists between darkness & light in our universe.
