The buzzards wheel slowly
In wide circles, in a sky
Faintly hazed as from dust from the road.
And a wind sweeps through the pasture where I lie
Beating the grass into long waves.

My kite is above the wind,
Though now and then it wobbles,
Like a man shaking his shoulders;
And the tail streams out momentarily,
Then sinks to rest.

And the buzzards wheel and wheel,
Sweeping the zenith with wide circles
Above my kite. And the hills sleep.
And a farm house, white as snow,
Peeps from green trees - far away.

And I watch my kite,
For the thin moon will kindle herself ere long,
Then she will swing like a pendulum dial
To the tail of my kite.
A spurt of flame like a water-dragon
Dazzles my eyes -
I am shaken as a banner!

Paralyzed fern lung drains of ferment.

Webbing roots to earth, then wrists. 

Shard bone fragment and fracture. 
Hornet's nest dips and sways.
Neurosis sets the femur mess.
No splint, save the constrictors and boas.
Dew froths a pneumonia.
Exhaust lofts, ascend dreams. 

G-force blackout and the wings shake. 
Outpaced by future portals. 
There is no control. 
Reverberating back to madness. 
An astral fold envelopes death's grin

Devil's Greenhouse

his is the moment in “While They Were Sleeping” where he floats not in fear, but in surrender  and all the versions of himself return. The child who tried. The teenager who broke. The boy in the red room. The one who bargained. The one who burned.

One by one, they appear  not to blame, not to shame but to simply be seen. To remind him of who he was. What he survived. And how none of it was ever wasted.

“Convergence (They Return)” is the sound of memory arriving without violence. Of past selves becoming light. Of floating in anxiety until it softens into clarity. A song for those trying to piece themselves back together and finally realizing… they were never truly broken. Just waiting to be remembered.

Biografi
Oddrun Eikli is the singer in Loops and Bridges. A project headed by Oddrun Eikli and Arne Hiorth. Oddrun Eikli sings, composes the melodies and writes the lyrics , Arne Hiorth does the arranging trumpet work and studio engineering.
