An experimentalist at heart, Darnell Demons takes the modern conventions of Trap and flips the genre on its head. His folky vocal style, over anxiety-inducing synths, suck you in. The deep and cerebral energy leaves you spellbound. He makes a mark on the genre with a recipe that is uniquely his own. In equal measurements of introspection and curiosity about the world, he uses music as a way to express his inner monologue. With producer and chief beat maker Dephrase at the helm, the pair delve deep into audio explorations and experiments, recording foley and real-world sounds and mangling them into unexpected sounds. An aura of mysticism permeates throughout.
