What's Up Desert Hearts Family,

The next live set comes from one of my best homies, Lubelski. This year we had him play during the fashion show, kicking off our Saturday afternoon for the Desert Hearts block. 

Lubelski is one of my favorite producers right now and it really shows how much he grinds in the studio by how many of his own tunes he played in his set. The whole thing is super eclectic, fun, weird, and littered with modular goodness.

What’s Up Desert Hearts Family,

​Looking back to 2014 ​when we first learned ​that we​ ​had ​confirmed DJ T. ​to ​headline​ our Desert Hearts Spring Festival,​ we had no idea that cold weekend would be one of the most pivotal moments ​in the early chapters of the Desert Hearts tail. 

At the time the family was still growing and together we were rocked by some of mother natures harshest elements, throughout the weekend, both rain and snow graced the grounds of Apple Valley and lead to a memory we will never forget, which was later dubbed as the infamous Snowy Hearts. 

​Flash forward five years, we knew we had to invite T. back into our new home at Los Coyotes and show him how this family has blossomed into the beautiful collective we all know and love today. 

T. wholeheartedly stands behind our mantra of spreading as much love as humanly possible and we couldn’t have been happier to have had him take the reigns on Sunday afternoon of the festival. With so much history from the mid ‘80s as one of the ​forefronts to Sven Vath’s legendary Omen club in Frankfurt, a creative behind Groove Magazine, and label-head of Get Physical​, it’s truly an honor to have a mogal like Thomas be considered an integral piece in our family.

''My obsession / love for music started already at an early age. When I grew older, I became interested in electronic music and developed myself in this area. In 2009 I had my first performance. I experienced that music was the key to communication with myself when I saw 'Trentemoller' performing live accompanied with a band. 

I felt really connected to the music he made. I got a lot of creative ideas and it inspired me to develop my own style. 'Trentemoller' has been really important for me in creating my own sound.

What I like about producing, is translating my deepest feeling towards a sound that touches me and others. What I like in this is to combine dark, obscure sounds with lovely and warm tones. The mysterious result from this combination describes my owne style in the best way. I like to develop myself in this area and acquire more knowledge about putting these styles together.''
