Interestingly, some men genuinely proposed marriage to courtesans. To some, the courtesans working here might have seemed like starlight in the night sky.

We don't have much - Niewiele Mamy - Short 2013 - 2023

This is an ‘old style’ production. Just 4 tracks with drums, keyboards (piano and organ), bass, and wind (oboe and recorder).

The tracks is (mostly) in 12/8 divided in either 3/8 or 4/8 giving it a polyrhythm feel of 3/4 over 4/4. BPM is for the most part at 176. Key is d minor at the start and later switches t0 a minor.

Growing up, my mom had a cassette of Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas music. I wore it out. I've always loved genre-bending Christmas music. Here's my rendition of Carol of the Bells: a bit jazzy, a bit contemporary, a dash of haunting dissonance, and a touch of rock.
