Our third label podcast comes from a the French veteran Volta. Lock in for a near 1 hour selection of the finest drum & bass 🎧

A pioneer and essential figure in the development of the Drum n Bass scene in France.

Resident DJ of the legendary Jungle Vibes nights at Gibus and host of the weekly radio show More Breakz on Radio Nova from 1997 to 2002.

He also created “Reflex” at What's Up Bar and OPA Paris, to shine a light on the emergent French DnB scene. 

At the end of the nineties, the “Plastic” and “Asphalte” parties at Arapaho confirmed an eclectic musical vision of his talent as a DJ.

With the help of FX909, in 2001 they release Asphalte Recordings on which they will produce several singles and the Perspectives LP in 2002 for Black Tambour recordings.

The formation “La Cible Mouvante” including FX909, DJ Ben and Activ managed to sign singles on English labels Smokers Inc. and Urban Takeover.

In 2014, Volta is back for a weekly show on Rinse.fr called “The Pressure Show” plus a new residency at OPA Paris alongside Anakyne and DJ Science.

Now it’s beside sound Enforcers crew that you can listen to his sharp style oscillating between the dark shades of DnB and the luxurious paths of the Worldwide Jungle.
