Paul van Nimwegen AKA "Poseidon” is a Melbourne based producer & composer dedicated to bringing you powerful and cinematic bass music. 

Within the first 2 years of it’s inception, Poseidon received an award in Australia for EDM Awards "Best New Talent".

In that time, Poseidon has been on a mission to experiment and break musical conventions; from his 2 destructive, heavy EPs on Crowsnest Audio, all the way to his ambient, orchestral and melodic LP on Open Outlets. 

Poseidon released a collaborative EP titled “Eidolon” on VALE, with artists ÆTERNA and Leon Ross. "Zen Mirage" from the EP, was played live by Noisia, alongside being premiered on Noisia radio.
 
Poseidon began his journey creating dubstep, with a goal in mind of merging melody, orchestra and destruction together. Proceeding his dubstep releases, Poseidon has begun experimenting with other forms of genre such as half-time, and experimental music. 

One thing is clear, Poseidon is not interested in falling into a specific category. Instead, this producer & composer is on a journey to create powerful music that evokes, challenges, or impacts his audience in a modern way, to weave stories into abstract sonic worlds.
