There is much speculation among Tool fans who this song is about, with no theory having been officially confirmed. Candidates include Jesus of Nazareth, due to references to crucifixion and martyrdom; L. Ron Hubbard, the science fiction author who invented Scientology; a past aspect of Maynard’s personality; and even Bill Hicks, to whom the album was dedicated and whose voice appears elsewhere on the album.  There is by far the most evidence to support L. Ron Hubbard, especially with the reference to 912 (the address number of two Scientology-owned buildings). However, we as listeners shouldn’t rule out the possibility of the song’s lyrics dealing with multiple figures.

LsWear was a german band around 1992-2000 and recorded 3 Albums. This is their first album, never released before. LsWear mixed Metal, Punk & Hardcore and Funk and created their very own style, resulting in very cool gigs back then. Lyrics and songwriting were mostly done by Holger K, the bassist. By the way - we have lost track of Holger. If you know a #BASS player from #HANNOVER, or other musicians from that era and scene, show it to them and ask them if they know Holger.
