Off The Meds is a Swedish-South African crew based in Stockholm, consisting of producers Adrian Lux, Carli Löf and Måns Glaeser with vocalist Kamohelo Khoaripe. Belter is their first full solo release, arriving on Studio Barnhus 7 months after the band's low-slung, ethio-jazz-influenced hip-house burner Currency Low appeared as one of the standouts of 2018's much-lauded label compilation Studio Barnhus Volym 1.

A relentlessly catchy party starter, Belter combines classic rave elements with cutting edge production techniques and Kamo's pitch-shifted rapid-fire vocals.
Already a key feature in recent sets by the Studio Barnhus posse as well as London top selector Joy O, the latter took it upon himself to remix the track, turning it into an extended broken techno trip, a few shades darker and dubbier than the original.

After an intrepid new phase in the label’s history - initiated by the “Solidarity Forever” series and followed by releases from Katerina, Mujaji The Rain, Gladkazuka and also Matias Aguayo’s “Support Alien Invasion” (w/ “Crammed Discs”) - Cómeme is happy to announce a new release by a wonderful and unique artist, who chooses to walk adventurous paths beyond nowadays musical normativity, and media spectacle: JOE. (You might already be acquainted with his releases on the ever-exciting “Hessle Audio” label)

On his first EP on Cómeme, JOE invites us to “Get Centred” via fresh sounds, perfect beats, and unusual time signatures – difficult to play, and easy to dance!

Psssh is the new label formed by Dauwd Al Hilali and Dave Redmond,
born from a collection of demos the pair felt deserved their own home. The inaugural release is the first in a trilogy from Dauwd himself, signalling a departure from the sound that first brought him notoriety.

The project is eclectic, pursuing less contrived grooves, from impactful dancefloor works to an ambient playfulness.

The EP kicks off with ‘Jean Rouch’, a techno jam littered with driving percussion, and the eventual emergence of a properly satisfying bassline. ‘Idris’ is equally intriguing, an ever-flowing and meticulously layered groove that doesn't quit. 'Really Good’ concludes the record, impressing further a spirited and melodic slice of deep house.

Dauwd’s work is new and fresh, but with references to old that hold their own.

To serve his sonorous ideas the ferocious, and retro tribal art direction of artist Mauro Ventura delivers the perfect cinematic vision of Dauwd’s EP.
