Offworld Recordings presents another stellar offering from Dan Guidance in the Blast Off EP.  
The first notes of the title track let the listener know they are in for some Retrowave inspired brilliance.  This tune has it all, melancholy synths, soaring guitars and vocal straight from Mission Control set atop a pulsating beat. Up next is Change Forms which continues the 80's influence with rolling drum fills and vibrating synths beneath luscious vocal snippets. The Offworld Colonies is a perfect fit; a deep roller with raining pianos and intricate rhythms. Closing up the release is They Foresaw The Future.  A moody banger that encapsulates the feel of the first three tracks and takes things a step deeper.  Pure Class from Dan Guidance.

Calibrate stablemate Sol Pillars closes out the EP in his own emphatic style with “Tasting Desire”, a track that shows off all of his usual production talents and signature sounds. Punchy drums, gnarly bass and catchy riffs.

Night Glow is a thing of beauty with an ever-rising bassline sits below as a rock solid foundation to this masterclass of moody drum and bass where undulating strings and pads wash over the track.
Keep On Going layers more piano atop forlorn pads and is expertly highlighted with woodwinds.
Bloom is a lush display of ambience and character only this team could produce. Bright Stars wraps up the release and is a song centered around a three piano chords at its core but offers the listener much more with its deep intricacy. Happy New Year!
