Info: Parallax explores the shifting boundary between human intuition and algorithmic logic, a space where two perspectives converge and blur until the center is lost. Composed through a hybrid system of voltage-controlled hardware and digital manipulation, the five tracks apply FM synthesis, granular processing, and bit-level degradation to rigid electro structures. Sequences are shaped by modulation instability and clock drift, gradually disrupting pattern integrity and simulating a loss of systemic control. Precise yet disrupted grooves hint at a deeper malfunction, as if something is corrupting the system from within. Parallax is the gap between the human who creates and the algorithm that imitates.

The Rogue Element were a DJ/Producer duo haling from the UK consisting of members Ben Medcalf and James Tomlinson. Ben, the original member of The Rogue Element certainly needs no introduction. An international Dj, Breakspoll award winning producer and has released on labels such as Skint, Exceptional and Fat Records. He has remixed and collaborated for the likes of Fat Boy Slim, Lee Coombs, Krafty Kuts, Stanton Warriors, Soul of Man and the list goes on.

James known to others as Call Me T is a solo artist in his own right. Both were at the top of the scene when the Tech Funk Breakbeat genre was at it's height and released a lot of music through the now defunct LOT49 label.

Basically Tayo is a legend when it comes to the breakbeat scene.....

After paying his warm up dues as a drum and bass DJ alongside Fabio, Grooverider and Peshay, Tayo set up Friction with fellow members of the breakbeat elite, Adam Freeland and Rennie Pilgrem and watched the club and it’s residents become a focal point for the UK breakbeat sound.

With other residencies back in the day at Fabric, Bugged Out! and Big Beat Boutique to name a few and various appearances on the Kiss FM Breakbeat show Tayo made a name for himself as a DJ playing along side the likes of Carl Cox, Layo & Bushwacka, Hybrid, Lee Burridge and Craig Richards as well as the endless people he met while on his travels around the world.

After a 2 month stint in Australia playing various clubs and festivals Tayo put together the exclusive mix for Triple J Radio back in January 2004.

Matt Goddard aka Dopamine is an Australian born artist who rose to fame by winning Best Single with the anthem of a track called "Hold You" at the Breakspoll awards in 2006. He was also co-owner of Title Fight records with Klaus "Heavyweight" Hill a now defunct label. While not always producing breakbeat music Dopamine moved onto house, minimal and tech releases with which he still produces today.
