early 90s was the first contact with electronic Music. At this Time it was Trance. a couple of years later i was moving to deep house, till i noticed especially Progressive House, especially Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J had a big influence and were pure inspiration in every single way! Woodstock 69 in Netherlands was my first live Contact with this incredible Music, will never forget that and the friendly people i met there which became friends for lifetime :-) Progressive House is my destination and the sound i play and love! i like it Spheric, Groovy , melodical and sometimes impulsive, but never to hard or monotone! ... A Track have to catch me with something, which can be several Elements like a dirty Bassline, a lovely Vocal, a catchy Melody or something else. Starting my Sets with some lovely and smooth Organic House (especially releases from Labels like Amulanga, Songuara, ADID just to name a few. For the peaktime of my Sets i also sometimes use some Melodic Techno tunes or dirty Progressive releases with a punchy Bassline and darker Elements, especially releases from Artists like Simos Tagias, Dowden, Dmitry Molosh, Kasper Koman, Tonaco, Mike Rish work for me at this Point really well! My Own Radioshow, Progressive Pearls on xbeat.org airs each 3rd Thursday every month (Start at 9PM), mostly around 3 hours. I always try to create a lovely Journey for the listeners, as this is for me most important point! it is not about playing track after track...I did and do several Guestmixes for Different Brands like PFG Movement (Great Britain) Saturo Sounds (Great Britain) Progresivna Suza (Serbia), Elements  (Proton), Night Grooves (Netherlands) The Future is Now (Belgium), Unity (Hungary) , Droid9 Labelshowcase (USA), Not by Rituals (Sri Lanka). I am also Resident of Sugar Beats (Germany), played at different Events in Germany including a big Openair on a castle near The german Limburg and some very Special Private Parties in Amsterdam. If a new generation of self-identity artists is emerging within the electronic music scene, there is where we will certainly find the Argentinian Nicolás Rada, a DJ and producer who has created his own firmly-based path onwards success.

His early influences of Progressive Rock have led him to create a characteristic sound that his public appreciates and that makes you enjoy either on the dance floor or out of it. That sound is the one which conducted him to different labels such as The Soundgarden, Sudbeat, Balance, Get Physical, Chapter24, Sincopat, DAYS Like NIGHTS, Hoomidaas, Proton, among many others.

Since his very first steps in electronic music, up to date, Nicolás’ productions have received support from important referents as Nick Warren, Hernán Cattaneo, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Sander Kleinenberg, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Patrice Baumel, Eelke Kleijn, Armen Miran and from many others. This guidance has given, and will surely give many opportunities to his carreer. Thus, the legendary Nick Warren proposed him to make some collaborations together and that is how not only their professional but also personal relationship began, releasing “Land of Dreams”, an EP edited by Nick’s label, The Soundgarden.

Warren’s musical knowledge challenged Nicolás with a new goal in a crucial moment of his carreer, to produce an album. And that’s the origin of “Resilience”. In addition to that, Patrice Baumel included Nicolás’ track “Cumulonimbus” in the prestigious album Global-Underground Berlin and Nick Warren added one of their productions to the mythological label Balance.

Since 2020 is on the roster of Analog Agency alongside some of most important Djs in the world. Nicolas’s brilliance has taken him on a global musical journey performing in a multitude of countries like Netherlands, Australia, Hungary, Spain, Scotland, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuator, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Sri Lanka and many others.  In his own country, he has covered almost all Argentina, visiting the most important clubs. He has been supporting Djs around the globe like John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Nick Warren, Satoshi Tomii, Eelke Kleijn, Guy Mantzur, Patrice Baumel and others.

His talent and achievements and music have been featured in music publications such as DJ MAG, Electronic Groove, Decoded Magazine, Vicious Mag, Change-Underground, When We Dip, which are the leading print and online sources within the music industry.

Amateur vinyl DJ, learning as I go along as a hobby. I've had a passion for dance music since the early 90s and learnt how to mix on vinyl and CDJs at house parties before and around the millennium. Then work and growing up got in the way, so I stopped. I love the sound and feel of vinyl, the rawness to it when DJing, so I decided to buy myself some turntables and a mixer again in early 2022 and started again, so these mixes are far from perfect but fun to do! Mainly mixing trance/Prog/House/Commercial stuff from the late 90s and early 2000s. None of the music is my own, just the mixing.
