Latvia's Nicolas Barnes brings his classy production skills to the latest Devilish Affair courtesy of this double single "Taril Metroma" EP.

Speed is one of the most important things in space. Everything seems to be measured by it with events that happen at mind-boggling long durations. On earth, humans are so concerned about the speed of things. Everything has to be fast. The way we access information. The time it takes to buy something. We are even worried on how long we wait in our cars behind someone else who is also waiting. If only we could travel at light-speed. Yet in space, light-speed is like snail trying to circumvent the earth.

As a special treat, the label and producer have gathered up a few industry producers to weigh in with their own interpretations. 'Taril Metroma' moves along at a perfect speed. Nicolas knows that this pace works for the day or night. It also works for clubs and home listening. It is the ideal tempo for the universal appreciation of techno. Sophilia's remix brings a more serious attitude to the subject. There is a more intense direction that this one makes while the label familiar Eric Louis, creates his rendition of the track to be more groovy, atmospheric and melodic. The original version of 'Blind Habit' is addictive, driving and determined to get people to the dancefloor. The two remixes do not veer far from that focus. Massiel's alternate is a great combination of flighty. techy and up-beat yet, devilishly wicked. Eric Louis is also featured here too. His remix is a devastating burner for the peak times of any club set. All three of these are great additions to any DJs tracklist.

In 2050, only three items of the experimental device "Quantum Smart Bracelet" were released. It was an innovative invention that combined the functionality of smart gadgets and the ability to teleport. However, its use resulted in unexpected side effects, including temporary memory loss. The bracelet became the subject of not only interest and lust, but also of concern, and was the topic of ethical and safety debates.

IULY.B delivers his debut album ‘Dimensions’ via Switzerland’s Adam’s Bite in April 2024, comprised of eleven originals from the Romanian artist.
Across the past decade Iasi, Romania’s IULY.B has steadily stamped his mark on the underground scene through his releases on the likes of Metereze, Constant Sound, Visionquest and Infuse among others. Here he marks a milestone in his career, delivering his debut long player for the Swiss imprint Adam’s Bite.
Across the eleven track ‘Dimensions’ album, IULY.B embraces the long player format to deliver a psychedelia infused range of material in his signature, raw, subtly nuanced and hypnotic style. Opener ‘Seagulls Passing By’ perfectly sets the tone with field recordings from the beach, breezy pads and a shuffled drum groove. The project then shifts up gears continually with ‘Altered Memories’ rolling rhythm, choppy bass and sweeping synths, the aptly titled ‘Bump’s gritty bass stabs, tripped out vocals and crunchy drums.
‘Aurora’ then drifts back into deeper realms with entrancing atmospherics, skippy percussion and acid-tinged synth licks before shifts straight back to raw dance floor ready material with a murky bass grooves, skippy drums and dubbed out vocals. ‘Ronnie’s Squat’ sees IULY blur the lines between House and Techno next with a gritty acid laced bass hook, swinging drums and bubbling synth flutters.
The story continues with ‘Dark Safari’ and its fluttering low-end pulsations, crisp percussion and tension building synth swells before ‘Variations’ heads back to the roots of Dub Techno, traversing through seven minutes of swirling dub echoes, hypnotic chimes and muted drums.
‘Between Worlds’ sees IULY once again moving in a new direction with saturated electro leaning rhythms, elongated subs and resonant synth licks before the mesmerizing textures of ‘Atlantis’ merge an amalgamation of melodies with a sturdy rhythmic foundation.
Track ten ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ then begins to wind down the project with an electronica leaning aesthetic, bringing together ethereal pads with plucked synth melodies and a chugging stab sequence before ‘Leaving Out’ concludes the project, a subtly unfurling journey through cascading atmospherics, robotic vocal chants and soft, broken percussion.

premiere: Information Ghetto - Mesozoic (Bauch Remix) [CC08]

"We made this track in one night a couple of years ago here in Croatia. We stayed up after the end of season party and with nothing more than a laptop, 2 pairs of headphones and a tascam field recorder, we wrote Obala. The track opens with a recording of a local band warming up and sound-checking and then slowly reveals this beautiful harp arpeggio which forms the foundation for the whole tune. For so long we thought it wasn't finished, until one day we released how perfect it is in its simple, raw form. Enjoy!"
