El cuarteto de electrónica único Stavroz lanzará su LP debut, Mindibu, el 13 de mayo a través de su propio sello Moodfamily. En el álbum, los oyentes encontrarán 'Nobody Around', así como los sencillos lanzados anteriormente, 'Wintergreen' e 'In Mindibu'. El cuarteto se encuentra actualmente en una gira mundial y ha aparecido anteriormente en festivales conocidos como Coachella (EE. UU.), Fusion Festival (DE), Wonderfruit (THA), Pukkelpop (BE), Strawberry Fields (AUS), Tropico (MX) y Three Points Festival (FL, EE. UU.), así como con Cercle en Fort Saint-Eynard en Francia, donde también alcanzaron el disco de oro por su EP debut, The Ginning'. Stavroz ha recopilado más de 100 millones de reproducciones en todas las plataformas con su segundo sencillo "Gold Town" que alcanzó el puesto número 1 en "Electronic Top 100" de Beatport durante varios meses y se presentó como parte de la banda sonora de GTA 5 de Rockstar Entertainment. Stavroz ha recibido el apoyo de When We Dip, CLASH Magazine, Earmilk, Electronic Groove, Stereofox, Deep House Amsterdam y Mixmag France, por nombrar algunos.

Con sede en Bélgica, el cuarteto está compuesto actualmente por IJsbrand De Wilde y Gert Beazar, los dos miembros fundadores originales, así como por Maxim Helincks y Pieter De Meester, quienes atrajeron al equipo al mundo de la actuación en vivo. Mientras crea su música electrónica delicadamente acústica, orgánica y cinematográfica, Stavroz recurre a gente como Nicolas Jaar, Radiohead, Fat Freddy's Drop y Stimming en busca de inspiración. The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting occurred on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut, when 20-year-old Adam Lanza fatally shot 20 children aged between 6 and 7 years old, as well as six adult staff members. It was during that time that we (Dance Spirit) were recording material for our first album when this tragedy took place so we wrote a song called “Mother, Mother” to help us cope with the tragic shock of this deplorable act.

The song was so powerful and emotional that we decided to shelve it; however, after the last year of senseless violence, both domestic and international relating to racism, politics, terrorism, and other evils of human nature we have decided to gift it to the world. We are starting by sharing the love at Burning Man this year. Music can be an incredibly healing factor when it comes to coping with the tragedies that we can go through in this world. We are dedicating this song to anyone who has lost a loved one to violence whether it has been in war, at home, or in the streets. 

Lyrically the song is written from the point of view from a child who lost his life to the violence, and it  is a gentle reminder to those of us who have to survive in this world; that no matter how ugly it can be, love is and always will be the answer. Metaphorically the bond between mother and child is the strongest form of love to ever exist in nature. It can also be a model for how we can grow to love each other and ourselves.
