Here's a recording of me playing U2's "The Fly" (Vertigo Tour Version). I made this a couple of years ago using a Line6 Variax Electric (rental guitar). Gear: Line6 Variax 600 Electric, Crybaby 535 Wah, Korg DL8000R Delay, AC30TBX.  Backing track comes from the DVD.

Quick run thru my main preset on the Axe Fx 2. 

Fx Chain:
-sdd preamp
-delay
-amp1: ac30 tb (main amp - vox1)
-amp2: ac30 tb (additional amp - voxinabox "style" - very low in volume - dry signal only)
-touch of room reverb

Guitar is my main 70s Strat.

Of course the original guitar has been removed from the tracks. I ripped them from the DVD and then edited them myself to make the backings.

No post processing added. maybe it sounds a bit too much overdriven, but i think it's closer to the Slane sound.
