Senso Sounds collects together a fantastic remix package of Oliver Huntemann’s 'Propaganda' album. The longplayer dropped last year to much fanfare, richly deserving the praise for one of the longest serving techno dons in the European
scene.

First up is Brazilian DJ and producer Alex Stein. His take on 'Taktik' is a suitably muscular approach, building the track around a thick, urgent pulse and proving ample space for tension-building slices of metallic FX.

Argentinian Shall Ocin flips 'Egoist', bringing about very different results - a euphoric peak time burner with huge amounts of energy.

Senso mainstay Carlo Ruetz takes on 'Der schwarze Kanal', and digs into an early groove that never lets up, building slowly over the tracks entirety.

Hamburg's own Hatzler brings his special talents to 'Absurd', and delivers a slick, powerful cut that unfolds over almost eight minutes of joy. Canadian Minimal Techno producer Marc Houle turns his attention to 

'Poltergeist', flipping the original into a streamlined slice of robo-techno, sharp as a knife with shards of percussion and killer synth stabs.

'Rotlicht' is presented in its full glory and joined by a tough-as-nails remix by Raxon. The Egyptian DJ and producer, born and raised in the United Arab Emirates, locks deep into the groove and adds his own delicious spin to the track.

'Trick17' is giving an Alternative Remix by Senso regular Distale. The Berlin resident provides a Beatport exclusive mix with more of a driving groove, and brings the arpeggiated synths to the fore.

A work 12 months in the making, Adam Beyer continues his exciting series of collaborative EPs, teaming up with heavy-hitters Pig&Dan for an multi-faceted four-tracker.

Chances are up if you spied Adam Beyer in an airport departure lounge over the past 12 months, he’d have his head buried in his laptop, immersed in creating sound sketches. A long-time fan of collaborations, the Drumcode chief has been on an inspiring streak of form lately, teaming up with the likes of Mark Reeve, Dense & Pika and now Pig&Dan. The results have been compelling, to say the least. 

In trademark perfectionist Beyer style, the title track ‘Capsule’ – a shimmering slice of techno - involved “around 15 different versions” the track rigorously road tested by the Swede and featured in episodes of Drumcode Radio to test dancefloor reactions, before finally getting the sign off.  ‘In Love’ is a big room techno groover, driven by crisp drums and the kind of evocative vocal effect that’ll have hairs standing on ends. ‘Atmosfear’ is true to its name, centered on a menacing synth line and gritty percussion, its deep kicks and subterranean bass combining superbly to create a heady dancefloor brew. ‘We Are E’ is propelled by a catchy synth hook and a classic call-to-arms vocal, which tips its cap to the artists’ shared love of classic UK rave.

Her first release outside of her own Bpitch Control imprint in well over 10 years, German techno stalwart Ellen Allien's abrasive techno slammer 'Take A Stand' on Nonplus Records is a nebulous yet poignant political call to action for the wider dance music community. 

Following the release of the single back in September of this year, Bpitch Berlin has tapped four of dance music's finest producers to deliver a remix package of this robust rave tune. First up on the four-track 'Take A Stand' Remix EP is the young Berghain resident, Kobosil. Feeding off rough and dark dancefloor energy, Kobosil's brutal rework of the track takes Ellen Allien's shouted slogan and turns it into "a disembodied curse that haunts this lysergic peak time banger."

Belgian techno architect and Mixmag's October 2018 cover star Amelie Lens gears up to deliver the third release on her freshly minted LENSKE imprint, 'Basiel'. Named after her godchild, the three-track EP is loaded with tumultuous timbres and stormy tones that make for destructive dancefloor behavior.

Ahead of the EP's release on November 23, Amelie Lens has shared the EP cut, 'Energize'. A track that does exactly what it calls itself, the fierce rhythm of the tune's drums in conjunction with Lens' permeating mantra urges clubland revelers to bring more power to their enviorment.

Monnom Black will mark its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993.

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.
