Just Like Yesterday is written from the perspective of a man who is in a long-term relationship, and has discovered his partner is having an affair. The fighting and tears have already happened, acceptance has set in, the only way forward now is to try and move on in time.  The lyrics were inspired by a popular UK TV show that has been on recently. Main musical influences on this track would be classical (eg Chopin), Radiohead, The Smiths.

Just Like Yesterday

I studied classical music as a kid and used to be in a band. I overdid music and life got all grown up (job, wife, house), so I stopped for a while. 

Recently, some stuff happened, and I found myself writing some tracks again. I thought I'd share them, nothing to lose, maybe some people might like them.
