HOMAGE is a Brooklyn based independent record label and party series focused on furthering real rave sounds and culture. We're delighted to share with you exclusively today a cut from their first release: '' Inside Out ''. Featured on the A side of the wax is this feel-good vibe, cooked up by the Brighton based producer Tech Support. It will surely makes you pump those fists in the air. Jad & The sends off the Ladyboy (he's fka Jad & The Ladyboy) and has a Going Away Party to celebrate. The party starts off with some Sad Cries (it’s always sad saying goodbye), then the Yeah Band starts playing to take peoples' minds off their sadness. After their afrocentric set, the guy who always has the Discogs window open and 45 adapters in his pockets jumps up and plays a Disco Dancefloor Tool designed to tease but please. Now that everyone's warmed up and ready for it, the next DJ drops some Underground Real Shit which even gets a nod from the high-brow DJ squad in the corner. The twelve people there lose their shit. Great night had by all.

Luv Shack Records‘ 28th release marks the return of Vienna based artist and label regular LeSale. The Baguette Magique EP packs three punchy original tracks plus a remix by deep disco don and Vienna resident Roman Rauch.

First off, there’s the original version of “Baguette Magique”, an uplifting dance opus carried by a tantalising disco sample, a plethora of bleeps and synthetic patterns, evolving into a cosmic, almost-techno piece in the second half.

Roman Rauch’s remix takes out the tempo and the quirkiness of “Baguette Magique”, instead opting for a laid back 80s tropical groove, turning the original theme into an insanely deep and obscure chord sequence.

On the flip, LeSale takes things to disco territory with percussive drums, a cheeky filtered sample and a hyperactive synth bass sequence on “House Rules”.

“Jungle Breeze” wraps up the release, offering a hazy mix of deep pads, tribal drums and oddball flute samples.

I hadn't done any classic house music stuff in a while so I did it the original way. Put on a drum machine, played some bass and chords over it... finally threw in some samples and that's it. and yes, kerri chandler I still love you."

Joe Cleen is back on SBEDITZ after his first outing smashed dancefloors worldwide. Dare we say this EP is even better than the first?! So get ready for another set of Disco bombs that blur the lines between edits and full blown reworks.

‘Time For Love’ rolls in where the last EP left off. Thumping drums over motor city soul samples and a huge disco soul breakdown that combine to level any dancefloor. 

‘Day In Day Out’ steps up with a hefty House bassline like it’s time to jack, but Joe cleverly switches the direction with gigantic filtered Rhodes licks swinging in. Throw in some serious slap bass, organs & powerful piano chords and it’s another signature JC disco funk jam.

‘So Long’ is a looped up disco stomper with Joe hitting the keys as hard as possible. Chopping in all forms of piano, splicing in big intergalactic sweeps and disco vocals that will take you on a trip to the outer reaches of the cosmos. 

‘Do My Thing’ ties up the EP with lashings of piano, organ and clav that all dance away over a toughened bassline. Sprinkle liberally with funk sampled vocals, layers of percussion and you’ve got an all night long burner on your hands.
