Inspired by «Strong Tea or Father» by Shao Qian, this song is written from the voice of a daughter learning to forgive herself for the distance and anger she carried during her father’ s final days. It’s not about perfect closure, but about finding a way to put the past behind. Forgiveness isn’t always clean—it’s slow, uneven, but real—the way a father would.

I started producing Trans-Lunar Injection (https://soundcloud.com/petrus-major/trans-lunar-injection-travel) before learning of Jim Lovell's passing. The initial reference was simple: I was inspired by Kraftwerk's TransEurope Express (thanks to @fhauna for spotting this reference) and I wanted to travel through space :) hence the chosen theme and title. I finished the track after Lovell's passing.

The Apollo VIII epic had a huge impact on me, even though I was young at the time, as had those of Apollo XI and the others, of course. So my little dedication was sincerely necessary.

Then I wanted another version, more streamlined, and above all focused on the Apollo VIII mission with this extraordinary message sent from lunar orbit, including the reading of the first verses of the Book of Genesis by each crew member, on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1968, during a television broadcast: a magnificent event within the event! (I might come back to this later).
