2014 is going to be a year to remember for the Dutch DJ and his fans. During a recent trip to the German city of Bochum, Markus Schulz decided to pay a visit to an old friend in ATB, and what was originally going to be a catchup over coffee turned into an impromptu studio session.

The result is Heartbeat - the freshman release of ATB's Ruhrtone Records, under the guise of Kontor. Working in unison for the first time, the talents of both are evident in Heartbeat - bringing majestic piano chime and sweeping, classically Barber-esque strings, which - further in - hook up with Andre & Markus' innate, heart homing mainline. At its point of greatest intensity - through cascading synths and its vocal's touching, lamenting feels, the mix hits its highest altitude.
