Midnight Assault

The musical prodigy Arcologies is back with yet another LP of immense atmospheric wonder. His skill at transforming sounds into works of beauty with little effort show no sign of stopping. The opener Asleep and Dreaming sets the tone with serene pads, sublime arpeggios and energetic jungle breaks. Memory Pattern Alpha switches the vibe to a dreamy foray into tranquil beats before Virtual View continues the relaxed vibe with more dreamy synths. We stay with the dream theme before Bio-Signature alters course with tech-led vibes and chopped breaks. The title track is another deep jungle journey that leads us to the eerie tones of Flashback before he flips back to the dreamier atmospheric sounds to end the EP on with a sublime selection of jazz inspired rhythms, floating pads and rolling breaks before Lunanescence jumps in to offer her lush and rolling take on the track Light and High.

The mega-talented TRC2 is back with another EP of epic beats. Showing his versatile and originality he has expertly crafted and blended the old and new as chopping breaks, heartfelt synths and speaker bending basslines symbiotically breathe together. The opener Age of Insecurity sets the experimental tone with ever-changing rhythms and ethereal atmospherics. Impossible Shifts keeps the ethereal nature and layers it with more rolling breaks and beautiful melodic stabs before Shadowy Forces assaults the listener with discordant piano timbres and an onslaught of layered breaks. The EP ends on the equally magnificent Star-Forming where the mood changes to lighter tones as soaring pads and melodic stabs sit serenely over the forever twisting breaks. TRC2 is showing himself to be an immense talent and we can't wait to see what he has in store for us next.

Just Jungle​ Genotype- Leggas Vol 8

The idea behind this release was to showcase my progression as a music producer. 'Surface Level' is all about the break — I spent several hours re-arranging and editing it, finding what I feel is a good balance between detailed edits and maintaining a smooth, listenable flow.

'Air Traffic' represents my own take on a modernised intelligent drum & bass track. It retains the classic sound I love, while adding an extra edge to the production.
