What an inspiring and thoughtful conversation. Kudos. I am saddened at around the 50 min mark to see neither guest acknowledge or answer the question around the experience of inner city dwellers and black people in this country. Maybe I missed their response, but what I heard was more of a glossing over that I think speaks to the insular nature of the black experience and almost an unwillingness to even explore that experience on either of their parts for that particular question. While theoretically, we have more that unites us than divides us, our lived experience shows us that people do in fact identify more with their race and religion - particularly rural white people - than shared experience. Unfortunate. This seems like a completely missed oppty or perhaps an oppty to have a new conversation. Rural communities are now experiencing what inner city folks have been experiencing for decades. Let's talk about it.

I did this in one take, recording on Audacity. My intention was to just record it and play with it to see what I could change, I ended up just making a few mistakes and I didn't know what to do to fix them.

I should really go to a recording studio and hire people that know what they are doing.

Bohemian Rhapsody - Classical Guitar

An improvisation that just developed using a rather lovely guitar, and a wonderful alt tuning (DADGAD) that is just perfect for Mr Lowden's fine instruments. 

A couple of glitches got into the play, but it was an enjoyable process creating this contemporary guitar improv - has a pretty springtime lilt and I hope it makes you smile.  =)
